The Mahomes did about what I was expecting. They’re def down a bit from late last season but have held up well. Gotta remember too that theseare legit sales from pre qualified buyers and not just people on eBay/IG that may offer something and getting paid is a different story.

My other one will be up next month and hopefully will be in the $85-90 range with a little more season hype. After watching the 9 go for 80 the other day, it could’ve been much much worse

Luminance has some really nice SP inserts. I was a big fan of the case hits last year as well (Shining Stars, Jubilee, and Moments). I just can’t imagine spending $700 on a luminance 2021 insert, though I will look to pick one up when they are a quarter of the value in a couple years…

Maybe your picture doesn't do it justice, but this is considered return-worthy "damage" now? Sad state of the "hobby"

Did you really expect a gem mint or even mint card from a raw Probstein listing? All their listings have those buzzwords in the title.

Also, they actually had a scan of the back on that listing and it's clearly visible.

Probstein deserves all the trouble they get. If they don’t disclose the damage in the listing then it is 100% on them. Would you be satisfied if you dropped that kind of money only to have it show up with that damage?

It’s right in the picture in the listing. Not trying to defend Probstein, but that edge damage was obvious in the eBay picture.

If I paid "that kind of money(roughly what a PSA 8 would cost)," I would look closely at the scans and see there was an issue with the back edge. If there was an issue that wasn't clearly visible, I would feel differently. Would Probstein disclose if there were? No, but that's a separate issue.

If you know their practices and still choose to do business with them, I have no sympathy. Buying a raw card from Probstein or PWCC, I would expect AT BEST a min. grade reject and at worst an altered card.

If the seller was a member of the boards and not Probstein, the buyer would get dragged.

The listing said razor sharp. I looked at the backside corners and they looked clean from the two pics so I took a chance. I’ve bought many raw cards off eBay and never expect gem but if they list it as razor sharp, I expect mint or close to a psa 9. I don’t think that’s too much to ask. Card almost looks trimmed. Both top and bottom edges are off and I’ve never seen one like it and I’ve handled/inspected well over a thousand 2017 optic cards.

I knew pwcc had a history of trimming but never knew of probstein doing the same. Learned my lesson. It said “razor sharp”...don’t care who you are but why put that when it’s entirely false. It’s begging for a return.

No member of these boards would list this card as razor sharp.
I didn’t know he put this in all of his titles. If it was a lesser expensive card I would just forget it but spending $1200 on a raw card, I returned. Sorry to all I offended. Also, most certainly not looking for any sympathy..

Whatever helps you sleep at night. I'm sure you would've kept the card had the "razor sharp" not been in the title. You might've had to accept a little responsibility then.

But, I suspect you knew your post might make you look bad since you edited it out before I even responded.

This is the first time I’ve ever returned anything. I edited my post here because he accepted the return very quickly so my question didn’t need to be answered. Sleep better at night? Your aggressive replies are a joke. I don’t expect psa 10s when I buy raw. You are assuming an awful lot. If the title wasn’t as so, I wouldn’t have bid on the card.
