Add to that the nature of the job she does and how it has to be mentally taxing. The fact that I am an introvert and she does outreach. Nope, I'm not kissing up. I just have mad respect and admiration for her and what she does. On top of that she takes care of hubby, the kids and the others she is close to. I simply could not do it and I'm not afraid to admit it. I'm sure I could say the same for others of you if I know what y'all did on a day-to-day basis.
No need for an explanation as we all know what Josie does on a daily basis but throwing the rest of us in this thread in there really wasn’t needed. We all work hard but we just don’t post about it all that much.

What is the obligatory amount of time to let the cat chill out before you feel comfortable kicking him off. My indoor cat Lucius has been chilling in my room lately which he never used to do.

Sounds like a snowflake to me. I don't get my way, I do bad and stupid things...

Has she ever gotten to fly in the helicopter. I only had one chance to fly in the helicopter for aircare when I worked at AMR but I turned it down.

If I have off work, I would sit for as long as she wants. If I have work, it is about 15-20 minutes.

I am glad he is hanging out with you!

No, usually there is no need for our EMTs to fly when you have paramedics onboard. My middle SD got to train with them once when they did a training session with our fire department years ago.

Of course, the middle and oldest SD flew in the helicopter when they were in that bad car accident years back.

They usually have the simulator setup at the convention in Ocean City and we've talked to them many times.

You know I thought more about this since you keep nagging me about it after every game. As I said before, I didn't volunteer to coach because I figured my Son would be bored and give up by now. I'm really surprised he isn't now that he's not hitting and he's stuck in the outfield.

All I could do as coach would be to rotate players. I wouldn't show favoritism to my son like the current coach does. I wouldn't show favoritism to the 2 travel ball kids either. And Both of those would probably create more arguments with my Son and more arguments with parents, so why put up with the stress and aggravation?

I'd rather just take him out and practice the two of us and hopefully that gets him better. I also watch a lot of baseball games with him to show how real MLB players react on the field to situations.

He would probably get hurt all of the time. I also don't know anywhere around here that offers lacrosse.

My wife received her actual plaque last night for her Life Saving award that they read at the banquet but didn't have the plaque ready.

The MFSA sent out a copy of the letter to all of it's members that they sent to her in response. It was very well worded and of course, vetted by their lawyer. Slammed her with nice words for threatening to withhold funds that are used to save her constituents lives over a name that has been around 100 years and has never received one formal complaint from a female or non-fireman in the organization; every member of every station is included in the organization whether you are a fireman, EMT, paramedic, secretary, treasurer, or even me, a photographer.

Looks like I have to make an appointment with my Son's doctor as he needs the Tdap and MCV (meningococcal) vaccines prior to attending 7th grade next September.
