I love Dame's game, always have since Weber days.

For fun I looked up Iverson's 3 50+ pt performances to put them into context as the NBA was so different then in terms of tempo.

Dame scored 55 of team's 140 pts at a game pace of 94.6.

Iverson scored 54 of 97 at a pace of 84.9.
He scored 52 of 120 at a pace of 80.9.
He scored 55 of 98 at a pace of 91.7.

All wins in case you were wondering.

Iverson's a true legend, MVP, 4x scoring champ, but newer fans probably have no idea what an insane scoring machine he was in the playoffs. 2nd highest scoring avg behind MJ.

That seems like a massive gamble on the FO's part if he aggravates the injury further.
The FO absolutely will not want to risk his long-term future. The issue is, it's Embiid who wants to play through pain and gets mad when they refuse to let him dress when *he* thinks he's 100%.

He was complaining about it on the 10-game stretch he missed earlier, wanted to fly out to Denver game 9 and play Joker and the FO refused. Guy has so much heart.

This is when the suits need to save the players from themselves.

Almost every superstar is going to want to lay it on the line if they can stand on 2 feet. No way I'd wager that.

There only seems to be 3 decent teams in the East. Nets, Bucks and Sixers. After that the drop off seems pretty big. Not sure why winning regular season games matter though. We all know the playoffs are different.

Of course they do and they will. But he did everything in warmups except run. {I know running is part of an actual game.}

Pat Bev and other players have played through small meniscus tears in the postseason. It's a question of any pain and swelling, plus whatever the risk may be from worsening the injury. It's almost for sure he'd have postseason surgery to repair it regardless.

+700 is great odds win ECF, not my opinion brah. Just check the 2way markets.

Meniscus tears are always a bit concerning for big men (also see: fatboi). I think Z played on his partial tear for several preseason games until the pain became too great to bear and surgery became the only option.

As far as the ECF, I'm rollin with ya boiboi KD and the scrip club patron.

It's almost like no player could ever drag a team starting Ty Hill, Dikembe, Eric Snow and Jumaine Jones to an NBA title over the Shaq+ Kobe Lakers.

Weird, I know right? I mean, MJ won all those titles without Pippen.

JJJ has been disappointing this series, to say the least. It looks like he's lost all his explosiveness.
