Nobody is banking on that and notice i said beast first......... im just saying.. it is a definite weakness on your defense.. but twisting words always works. Its not like he cant throw too.. 260 and 3tds no ints last week against a better defense than the packers have.. people fail to realize that carolina was on a nice run to close the season as well.. hadnt allowed more than 17 in their last 5 games b4 the seahawks. They are almost identical in the passing game.. so yea just highlighting that we will likely focus on a lot of running it down your collective throats. Oh yea and in the first game lynch had 110 on 20 carries with 2 tds.. havent you guys struggled heavily with containing running qbs? Well wilson has improved a lot since the start of the season in that area.. he has really punished teams that dont contain well.

Both ways, these aren't the same teams they were in Week 1. It's going to be a great game, and I truly wish Rodgers didn't have a hurt calf. I'd like to see this game with everyone as close to 100% health as possible.

We both finished with the same record, we both are good teams. I can't wait for Sunday just so whatever the outcome, we can all move on from the back and forth.
Thanks for injecting some reason into the conversation. It was needed.

This is a great post. Yes, both teams finished 12-4. Hawks rely on Defense, Pack rely on Offense. We scored 31 last week, Pack 26. This game is going to be close all the way to the end. And the Seahawks will prevail!

Ah yes, because paying a comment a complement is a bad thing to do.

Next time I like what someone says, I will keep it to myself because you told me I should.

But...what if I don't want you to keep it to yourself?

Seriously though, both fan bases are nuts for their teams. Trying to make guesses ahead of time doesn't do anyone good.

I expect Seattle to win, but that has nothing to do with GB. It's because I'm a fan.

May the better team win on Sunday, and whomever wins that game, needs to win the SB to satisfy both fanbases.

I'll echo the other "thanks for not being a moron" posts directed at this one. I realize that the only real comparison tool we have is Week One, but neither of these teams are anywhere near what they were back then.

Hell, the Week One game was close until Derrek Sherrod happened at the end of the third quarter, and he's nowhere near the Packers organization. Who knows what's gonna happen?

Sherrod was disappointingly bad at football after that leg injury.

It probably would have been different if Barclay didn't get hurt before the season and Sherrod had more time to not have to play. He probably would have flown under the radar for the season on the roster at least.

Sherrod was a bum. Guy could not block a paper bag. Sucked so bad no one would sign him till season was over and KC gave him a futures contract.

Sure didn't work for that kaepernick guy last year, eh? Russ ran for over 800 yards this year. To discount that threat as a defensive coordinator would be stupid.

Dan Patrick Show Stat of the Day: The NFC Championship Game on Sunday will mark the 7th time in NFL history that the two teams that played in the opener will meet in a conference championship game. The winner of the opener has won the championship game on all 6 prior occasions.
