2024 Summer Olympics Cards from Topps?

I am calculating about 2600 hobby cases based on For Pride and Glory supers only found in hobby.

Dynasty auto patches are about 1 per 10 cases.

I'm OK with that checklist as it's slightly better than what we knew a day ago (only 38 base Paralympians and two base cards of select subjects such as Curry, Ledecky, Phelps, etc).

What sucks is that they didn't only include 1 base of those select subjects and add others such as LeBron, Biles, Lyles, etc. But I'm sure there were some legal explanations why such athletes weren't included.

It's actually better than I expected. Topps Olympic has always had high variability in the auto hits, with some big names and many more smaller ones. Here we have by my rough count about 9/81 of the base autos are para athletes. On top of that there are 49 additional insert autos, many of which are premium names.

Isn't that 17,500 hobby boxes? Meaning 1,458 cases. Those odds are per pack not per box

I calculated 2485.57 hobby cases (with an average of 4.13 numbered base parallels per hobby box).

Note: My calculations were quick and I didn't have a chance to double-check (currently working).

I calculated 2485.57 hobby cases (with an average of 4.13 numbered base parallels per hobby box).

I don't think the Super odds are right.

Orange is Hobby only usually, and its calculates to a much lesser amount.

They may have forgot to add blaster odds for those Supers because there is no "-" like other non-blaster possible sets.

Shoot, my calculation is definitely off because I forgot to account for numbered parallels coming out of blaster boxes when producing the final numbers.

I think I overcomplicated my calculation too. Should've just worked with superfractor odds lol.

Yep, there probably are For the Glory supers in blasters but not listed. 1500 cases is not a lot for this product so I would expect the cases to sell out quickly on Topps on Friday. Probably not even get a chance.

Looking over the checklist I really want a Xander Dynasty. That card is likely nicer than anything Upper Deck has put out lately.

The Xander/Lilia Vu dual would be great too.

Any idea why Topps went with a 200-card base set only to fill it out by duplicating most (if not all) athletes and tossing in a few who are neither competing nor hopeful?

I really wish I’d gotten in on the first wave of cases Blowout released last month. But $1599 is still a lot better than $2269.

It's not bots, I've manually purchased nearly any release I've wanted. Just have payment info saved and make sure you're logged in at 11:50am.

It also helps to follow accounts on Twitter that post product links as soon as they go live, or better yet a Discord where it's auto posted.

It's possible to snag boxes on Topps.com, just very challenging. More likely to L than W.

Looking forward to this product. Plenty of solid names on the checklist in addition to the headliners. Hopefully it’s not printed to the moon. Will be interesting to see where box/case prices settle in.

It's printed to the moon so you should stay away from the product.
