Not many high end Rockies Tulo stuff shows up when I search for it. I do often search for the 2004 Yankees Classic Scripts dual and triple autos. There's a quad on eBay but it's extremely overpriced. I got a cool dual Torre/Berra /100, Larsen/Ford /100, and Larsen/Ford/Guidry /20. Those are all on card. There is a 1/1 quad cut from the set of Ruth, Mantle, Gehrig, and DiMaggio. Haven't seen it.

Oh I pay attention. That's why I know if anyone does anything even slightly different than you do or does something that causes a price to be higher than you think it should be, you condemn it as evil flipper behavior. You're the most predictable poster here.

I didn't realize these existed and I opened several boxes of this product. I need to go dig through that box!

Here's my contribution. I have this card from the set and would like to pick up more...

18-card set, stated print-run of 36 (not serial-numbered). There's a few overpriced cards on eBay, but I've never seen most of the cards in the set.

2016 Topps Update SSP Image Variation of Mookie Betts. I've only seen this on the Beckett checklist variations page, never in the wild.
I'd love to find one someday...

Been watching eBay for 3+ years now, saw one copy show up, but only saw it in a sold listing after it had been listed earlier that day. Have never seen another one.

I need 3 SP/SSP variation cards to complete the full run of Rizzo variations in Topps products going back to when he started as a Cub - this GQ card, and those stupid sparkle variations from 2014 and 2015 (which I've also never seen).
Do you know the print run on that AF?

Here’s one - ‘09 Heritage SP Jeter with a Sox logo

There are other SPs from the set, and a few are on eBay; however, this one and the Pedroia Yankees logo are nearly never seen. The only reason I know about it is that someone on here found one in a dollar box a few years ago and posted it. I’m guessing that most were similarly unrecognized when pulled/sorted

There's a YouTube video where someone tried to work out the 2020 GQ print run, and they put the Armed Forces Day cards at about 100 per player.

ETA: There were also apparently retail variations on the armed forces variations where they were printed with rounded corners, like the Tarot cards. So of the 100 print run, there's a smaller subset that have the rounded corners variation. It's needle in a haystack stuff.

On eBay for sale right now, there are 4 for sale for the whole subset, 1 of which has the rounded corners.

There are 15 cards on the checklist. PSA has no graded cards for 8 of them (including the Rizzo). For the others, the most they have graded is 4 cards (for Mookie Betts). Honestly, I think 100 might be high on the print run (but that's just me).

Here are a couple that you won't see anywhere else, and I just got the auto back so I'm super proud of the set. A buddy of mine did the autos chase and slabbing together. His hasn't popped yet, so it's the only one out there for now, along with the dual refractor and the Chipper side refractor both being pop ones.

Inspired by the GQ Rizzo... Maybe my favorite Acuna that I own is a 2019 GQ 4th of July variation. I believe these are also a print run of 100. I haven't paid much attention since I got mine a few years ago, but I think I spent maybe twelve months waiting for one to pop up. Not sure about 2020 GQ, but 2019 GQ hobby packs eventually made their way into the Fairfield boxes you can find at Walgreens. I'm guessing a number of these Acunas will be lost as the people that buy Fairfield repacks might not know what this is if they did manage to pull one. It's unfortunate because I think it's a great image (look at the bat handle).

Am I understanding correctly that those "non-refractor/refractor" is a half refractor card? Like, half the face is a refractor?

Yes. There is a dual refractor, a chipper side, and an Andruw side refractor. That is the whole set, as there is no “vanilla” or non-refractor variation.

I have much better pics and pack odds on my insta if you wanna check it out. It’s a pinned post

These were rare for sure, but there were 10-15 available for sale back at the time. Very cool variations. Probably only like 50 were made, maybe less. They were pretty recognizable at the time.

Yeah that's my guess with the Rizzo too - if you're not looking for it, you're not going to realize that it's a variation. I suspect there are more than a few of these sitting in base boxes waiting to be discovered.

That's a great Acuna, BTW.

In terms of short printing one of the variations, they did the same thing in 2021 with the Mask-Up variations, and in 2022 with the Field of Dreams variations. Both of them were much more rare than just the basic variations (Jackie Robinson or City Connect or Players Weekend).

2009 Goodwin Champions LBJ Relic. Never seen one and I've been looking since release. UD claims they were all pack inserted. Oh well.

I’m of the belief this was never printed:

2020 Topps Allen & Ginter Dual Autographed Relic Book DARBC-GV Nomar Garciaparra / Mo Vaughn /10

For a card out of 10 in a popular release, my gut feeling is it was never produced even though it was on the Topps checklist.
