Sparkle packs instead of redemptions?

I'd lean towards the rep being right about Cody, maybe someone got a replacement as they intend to use all upcoming stickers on current 24 releases to avoid more redemptions.

I'm not sure if this is a one-off or a problem after their website update, but I had one of my redemptions (non-wrestling) show as "closed" even though there was no tracking information. I logged into my FedEx account and saw I have a package coming tomorrow that was shipped last Thursday from Panini. No email, no update in my account with tracking, I'd have no idea it was coming if I didn't have an account with FedEx. So, I say that to say if you have outstanding redemptions it may be worth checking your account once a week or so to see if any were marked as "closed" that they just didn't notify you about.

I think if we've learned anything over time, it's to never trust the rumor & innuendo re: redemptions and signers, even if it comes from a Panini rep. There've been so many conflicting reports and things said that were eventually proven as downright untrue.

I've adopted the position of patience and optimism w/r/t my redemptions, while wishing at the same time that a better system was in place.

One thing that is categorically true is that they prioritize newer releases with sticker redemptions over older ones, which is definitely whacky and cause for sincere disgruntlement.

Only rumor I believe is HHH, that dude is clearly not interested in signing. Anyone major that got removed from these new sets has clearly told Panini (or WWE on their behalf) to take them out of future releases.

I've never had this work before so I just wanted to share my story, maybe Panini has more staff than they used to.

I have a redemption that I know will never be redeemed (Sarray) so I put in an "inquiry" on the redemption page, asking for the replacement to be fulfilled that I already requested. They emailed me within a few days and said it was in the queue but to let them know if I just wanted a Sparkle pack. I replied, sure, just give me a sparkle pack, thinking the card has no real value anyway. A few hours later they replied and gave me a choice of sparkle pack, which surprised me (2023 NFL Prizm or 2022 NBA Donruss Optic). I said NFL Prizm since there are some good rookies in that one.

This is only notable to me as in the past I had 0% luck sending emails to support and now I've actually had a back and forth exchange with them. So it does appear like they are being more responsive if anyone else has a lower value auto they are ready to give up on.

In all truth, that is a $100-150 pack for a roughly $10 auto. I’d take that all day.

I just tried the same for a base Bayley auto I’ve had in the queue for over two years. We’ll see what happens. All the other autos I have in the queue are either too new or way more expensive than a Prizm pack.

So i got the sparkle pack offer for my Orton and Goldberg Immaculate redemptions from last year. I feel like both cards would be worth more than a sparkle pack no? I've been waiting on replacements forever but I guess I'll wait even longer

It just depends on your ultimate goal. 2023 NFL Prizm sparkle packs sell on eBay for around $120 to $130, those two autographs probably $150ish depending on the serial number. Not that I like redemptions, or them not fulfilling requests, or not offering like replacements but if you are just looking to move on from them you can always sell the Sparkle and get panini autograph of both of them for close to the same price.

Personally, I'd see if they will do Goldberg for a Sparkle as that would be about the same value and I doubt he is signing anything else, and wait on the Orton as one day he may be in the mood to sign again.

Kind of messed up Bayley has recent Panini Instant autos and you're waiting two years lol checked for kicks yesterday and you can get her Instant auto/10 for $50

Yeah I guess i just really want the Orton more than the Goldberg bc i have a Goldberg. I know i can buy an orton but I was just looking forward to a Orton On Card Auto/Mem. Maybe I'll just bite the bullet and take the packs after all

If you don't mind me asking, when did you submit the replacement request? I've had requests in for over a year at this point and they haven't offered me anything but I'm trying to be patient lol

My 2022 Immaculate Randy Orton Mem/Auto /25 was submitted 8/29/23 and all I have to show for it is this post.

Actually just had a pretty informative call w a Panini rep checking in on my Cena Mania auto. Said Cena just recently sent in a bunch of 2022 Prizm and NT autos but that Impeccable and Quad autos from him were missing and they've been following up with on them. Sounds at least like he's been responsive to Panini lately and gives me some hope he may get to them during the retirement tour.

They also said they will be at Summerslam and expect to pick up a lot of fulfilled redemptions there.

They offered a replacement that they said would be wrestling and deemed equal value to the Cena auto but decided to hold off for the moment and just hope he signs.

I'm starting to think Panini employee's just say they're getting redemptions filled to get free tickets then just enjoy the event. The amount of PLE's they manage to be at compared to the amount of redemptions actually fulfilled is pretty embarassing lol Randy is at most PLE's for example so does he just tell Panini off? They don't ask? He runs and hides like Jon Jones that one time when USADA showed up? I don't get if they are at all these events they can't at least get a concrete answer on certain guys.

I can't remember the exact date honestly, I think it's been a year though. As soon as the first what was it 90 days 120 days passed and they asked what I wanted to do I asked for a replacement.

Holy cow just got a notification my Wrestlemania Cena auto shipped! Fingers crossed it's not some replacement. Crazy timing since I just spoke with them a little over a week ago. Can't wait to see what Mania shot they used, would love for it to be the one of him sitting on the stage I think after one of the Rock matches.

According to this week's redemption report, Bray Wyatt finally got around to signing for them

(Yes, I know this is actually an embarrassing case of them holding stickers for a year in a closet somewhere and finally getting around to sending them out)

I remember people questioning how insane it was that a Bray Wyatt redemption after passing was getting bids...guess they weren't so dumb after all.

I mean I know it won't but maybe this will make some people relax and stop complaining about their redemption if it's sticker....as clearly they will probably get to it at some point, even Gable is on this for sticker.

Major grain of salt alert because its second hand but I'm seeing in FB groups that Bray redemptions are NOT going out and they simply are closing him out of the system to mail his stickers to the estate. Again, grain of salt but more than one person is saying it so this isn't isolated to one person's experience allegedly talking to panini about it
