That’s a nice card and I love Bowman’s Best but the prospect non-auto stuff just doesn’t sell all that well so $12 seems reasonable.

Probably -- but I'd be interested to know what they found in the box at the Lost Package Center or whatever in Vegas.

Forget where I saw updated tracking information a month or so ago.

With his late season call up in 2022, he should be in ‘23 Series 2 at worst. We’ll see.

Agreed- I assume they'll have Adley and Harris be the early season bellcows for s1 and the 1st wave of '23 products. Keeping Carroll in their back pocket to push s2 could be a very wise move.
Although unlikely I think his game is impactful enough that he could be an MLB star by the AS break. Even as a smallfry on a crappy team.

I think he would be an impact player from Day 1. Definitely the NL ROY front runner as it is. I don’t see the DBacks limiting his playing time this season like they did last year, so he should be playing every day.

He's the "frontrunner", but the NL is an extremely tough field this year.

One thing I've noticed is while their BCA sell for similar, Gunnar Henderson's base 2019 stuff goes for double Carroll.

I'd imagine Francisco Alvarez will see the bulk of the season in MLB. Jordan Walker, maybe? Those are the two position players outside of Tovar and Carroll that I could see contending.

If there's a betting market for futures bets, I'd have Carroll at the top of those 4.

These are the current odds on Barstool Sportsbook

Carroll +400
Senga +650
Tovar +650
Alvarez +1000

Walker isn't listed

Oh, forgot about Senga. That's a sneaky solid pick for NL ROY. Where does Yoshida sit in the AL odds?

think it depends on who gets called up the earliest and how many innings they get in, but think Kyle Harrison will have a legit shot at ROY or someone like perez/painter/hunter. I think its way easier for a 21 year old kid to put up borderline cy young numbers as a rookie then it is for a positon player to put up MVP numbers

Didn't Spencer Strider just put up one of the best RC pitching seasons in recent memory and still lose it to his teammate who played 114 games?

Of the last 12 ROY (both leagues) only 1 was a full time pitcher (Devin Williams).

On this list there’s some value with Jung and Lewis I think.
