I'm partial to his 2017-18 Topps Chrome, but that's probably 2nd to his 2018 Prizm World Cup issue, as seen by the marketplace right now. Those are probably his top "rookie" cards. 2017-18 Select field level is also well regarded.

If you want his very first rookie issue, he had a soccer sticker in 2016-17 Panini Foot stickers.

I've compared Mbappe in soccer to Giannis in the NBA as far as popularity and talent. He is basically the young face of soccer right now and when you are featured on video games, marketing with the Jordan brand, getting hat-tricks versus a GOAT and becoming best friends with LeBron.....then the sky is the limit for this kid.

It's been half a year since I paid attention, but when I was watching these last summer, the France cards went for a little more than the PSG cards.

I assumed this was either because he's had his greatest success so far playing for France in the WC, or because he'll eventually play for another club, but he'll only play for the one country.

Not sure if there's still any difference these days, but it's likely.

I agree. Part of it may also be because his 2018 Prizm World Cup card is so popular. So, there is a trickle down effect where someone that may not be able to afford that card still wants a Mbappe 2018 France World Cup card (and they look to Donruss/Optic).

They relist dealer inventory, or things on auction sites. They do not hold or own anything.

This card is a live auction right now, and with the another blue having sold for $2,000 on Ebay just yesterday, no way this will sell for less than $1,500. I will be certain of that
