Is that true on old auctions? If so, that’s a great idea.

Yeah, I also tested it with item that I sold in February 2015, a month earlier than this one.

So after all of this is said and done do you guys think the grading companies are going to notice and try to change things to make them safer in the future?

Or are they going to continue to churn the cards out like cattle and not care if they are trimmed or not?

Honestly? What do you think happens?

Are they even aware of any of this stuff that has been found?

Would it do any good to post some before and after trimming graded pictures on thier IG or Twitter? Or will they just remove it instantly?

Agreed. Stick to the facts folks. This bashing one another thing is really played. Save that for any news media outlet, on any topic, on any given day... Let’s solve something here.

They don’t care. PSA built an industry on the back of an altered card, literally. Nothing has changed over the past 20 years. Just read that CU thread from 2004 about the Lebron. It reads the same way this one does.

Don’t respond. It’s like feeding the bears at this point.

I received another series of emails from Jamison this morning. These are probably out of order someone else can figure out the order and post the images. I don’t have time.

The grading companies should care. If this continues, collectors won’t value graded cards as much and the grading companies revenue will plummet. If there is nothing we can do about trimmed cards, collectors will gradually assumes that all cards, especially high graded ones, are trimmed, then why would collectors pay a premium for high graded cards? If collectors won’t pay a premium to buy graded cards, then very few collectors would even bother sending their cards for grading.

Seeing wegotstock thrown out there is hilarious. Looks like the story on the 49/99 is legit.

Here is the link to the Platinum from unklbnz (graded July 29, 2015).

https://www.ebay.com/itm/2009-Nation...orig_cvip=true

Obviously trimmed compared to this:

But the question will be, how does it compare to this?

Personally, I think the corners were touched up somehow. Not necessarily trimmed. But you can see the corners on the reverse, especially on the left side are noticeably sharper in the BGS 9.5 slab. And how the hell does a corner subgrade go from an 8.5 to a 9.5?

Ok, so it looks like Jamison was telling the truth, and UNKLBNZ is once again the prime suspect of trimming Stephs NT 2/5. I'm sure one of BOs finest will put together an overlay of the BGS 9 to the BGS 8.5 to verify. No comment on the corners.

And then the 49/99. I dont see the name Fanihyu anywhere on the invoice. Just the name Zhemin Wo. Ring a bell to anyone?

I have checked both the name - Fanihyu - from Jamison's text image and "Zhemin Wo" from the invoice to my transaction history. Neither returns any results.

If you believe the things Jamison has said so far, it feels like this is where we are.

1. Jason Stern/Unklbnz/Thenandnowcollectibles sold him the NT Curry /5. Since this seller has a history of alteration, and the pictures indicate it was altered, it makes sense. Is there anything else that Jamison could/should provide at this point?

2. Fanihyu (from his cell phone) or Zhemin Wo from the invoice appears to be the individual who sold Jamison these cards. Who is this person? We don't know that he is the person who switched out the patch, but that's where the trail leads to this point. Can anyone provide any other details. Maybe Jamison can shed some light on how he got connected with this individual. As BuybuyMJ was saying, learning the ebay name or other details that may help us know who he is would be really good.

Am I missing anything?

I would ask Jamison why he cracked the 83/99 out of its BGS 9 slab, and sold it raw on January 31, 2016.

https://www.worthpoint.com/worthoped...res-1798620596

He has some sort of relationship to IkeThis, who appears to have been the one to sell the card, and doesn't have a very good reputation here.

Anyone know if this Jamison dude is the same guy who was doing breaks with Matt on BO TV? Not 100% on this, but I think he and another former member (Eric) were the ones breaking TONS of high end with Matt.....but I could be wrong.

If I remember correctly, wasn't Jamison banned for shilling, or helping someone shill their Ebay auctions?

It's pretty funny to see all these guys walking around at shows, acting all cool and like such high-rollers, only to find out they're all shady as sh!t... sigh.

With enough capital and little ethics, you too can play in the high-end crowd!

There hasn’t been a thread yet where a new name has popped up that is completely removed from this circle. They all deal with one another. Jamison can piss on BODA and state we don’t understand the high-end market outside of eBay/BO. That’s fine. Am I supposed to believe it is any less fradulent than what I do understand? Which is a market built on the back of trimmed cards, shill bidding, actual theft, etc?

Does PSA or BGS have Twitter or Instagram accounts?

And if so...are people allowed to comment and post pictures on them?

I hope chefcurry3030 understands that it's not people 100% judged that he's the guilty one on these cards. I know when you're in that position you don't feel good, I know, but people questioned, not judged.

He asked, is it really even worth to spend time like that?

Well, we're talking about two of the biggest modern rookie cards in the hobby, actually more than two, a couple of Exquisite LBJ RC /99, now NT Curry /99 & /5. Enough is enough. People want to catch who trimmed these cards and probably it's still going on.

He bought those two trimmed Currys. He already sold them so it doesn't matter now? He's the one who bought those two trimmed Currys that he didn't know. I know who's the last person bought 49/99. He paid over $10,000 for that card, he deserves to know what kind of guys do this to say the least. Let's see the big picture.

I will take those evidences that chefcurry3030 provided as they are, thanks for that. So he provided whatsapp messages, even PayPal invoices and his email address, but still no his eBay user name?

Give it to us, people here will chase it again and we'll get closer. It's not even people force him to figure it out by himself. Look, because people have been doing this, now we know who trimmed the top edge of NT Curry 2/5. Is it not worth for the hobby? At all? I don't think so.

Then, could he say again he's not sure it's even worth spending time like that? Think about that again. I'm spending a lot of my time for what, at the end of the day I can say it's not even my business. I'm not even involved in any way, I didn't buy any of them, I didn't sell any of them.

It's up to him. If he cares the hobby, he will understand that and provide his eBay user name or anything like that which could help a lot to figure it out. If not, he won't. His choice.

BuybuyMj, we probably should have figured this out but Jamison says that the sellers ebay name was fanihyu. Unfortunately that leads us nowhere. I don’t see anything about that name online. The sellers real name might be more helpful at this point.

You are probably right.

How do you not be skeptical when you buy a high end graded card?

I would have to think that what has been found here is a very, very small piece of the trimmed cards on the market.

I would have to think there are tons of them at this point.
