Game 5 on.
Anything can happen now.

Max vs Hill game 5. Thoughts? Another pitcher on short rest?

Leave him in a bit too long and he gives up a game deciding homerun to Matt Adams. Take him out and all of his opposing runners on base score thanks to his relief/Dodgers defense. Something always seems to go wrong when its his spot in the rotation
Something about that 7th inning too. I had a bad feeling when he came out to pitch it. I thought they had confidence in the bullpen this year to go with Baez/Dayton, Blanton, Jansen. Glad it worked out overall though.

Really?

Ok, I'll clarify.

These ex-Phils have come thru in this series -- Utley, Ruiz, Blanton, Werth.

Better?

I still think of Werth as an ex-Dodger.
Wish we'd kept him. If he hadn't hurt his wrist that time, who knows?

Hill only threw 82 pitches on Sunday.

Should be a great game! I'm leaning towards Washingron at home with MAX!

That comment made me check his stats -- didn't realize how many games he actually played for the Dodgers. Still not nearly as many as he had with the Phills.

But what really surprised me is that he is his 6th as a Nat (verses 4 as a Phillie and 2 as a Dodger). Didn't realize he has been gone for that long from the Phillies days.

Picked up tickets for tonight, can't wait to see how this one plays out. DC has to get out of this rut eventually, why not tonight!?

Oh right, because playoff baseball is a weighted coin-flip.

Cannot wait.
