I wouldn't be surprised if Hill starts week 1.

I would be very surprised if Bradford is healthy 3 weeks in and NOT starting by then.

Bradford will be starting as soon as the coaches feel he can run the offense. He wasn't acquired to wear a cap and hold a clipboard. Until that happens, at least we know Hill knows the offense.

Exactly what I am saying. We didn't spend a 1st rounder for the guy not to start. If we were just looking for QB depth we could've probably signed Sanchez or would've grabbed someone like Aaron Murray

They don't consider my 3 year tenure as starting QB for my social flag football team as "legitimate credentials" to coach in the NFL. I don't think they even watch the game tapes my mom sent them.

So any nay sayers change their opinion?

(This is of course ignores the complete lack of other options from such nay sayers, and I imagine the best other possible qb at the time might have been RG3...and we all know how that turned out.)

Great game!

Let's hope he can stay healthy through the season. They really need to shore up the O-line somehow for that to happen.

I told everyone that Bradford is good. Definitelt better than Teddy. Sam has just never had any protection whatsoever. If they can keep him healthy, he'll prosper. Where are all the haters this morning?

One game does not a season make. And it still doesn't change my opinion that Minnesota paid a steep price for him.

Seriously??? We're going to decide MIN wasn't fleeced because they scraped out a win at the opening of the stadium??? For a 1 year rental QB? Rightttt....

Yeah - Vikes O-line didn't give him much time back there yesterday - Rodgers actually, through scrambling and blocking, seemed to have a lot more. The sacks the vikes had were mostly coverage sacks it seemed. Bradford did what we needed him to, but not sure he is going to do that every week (especially if AP is out as a threat and teams defend for the pass more). And like FTT said, that doesn't mean he was worth the pick, anyway.

Answer: DREW BRESS.

Abandon by the Chargers and picked up by the Saints and made his home there.

Now it looks like it will happen to Bradford in Minnesota. The city, the team, the atmosphere just fits him.

Great game by Bradford, one game doesn't make it all great, but it doesn't hurt. Vikings D was the real MVP--this team just needs stable, average QB play to really make a run, anything better than that will make them elite.

Rodgers looked off last night, Vikings D was the reason for that IMO.

When that one game is over the Packers it may not be "all great" but it is hopefully well on it way to getting there. If Bradford can play half that well the Vikings running game will get better even without AP. I think Vikings fans are already on the Bradford bus after one game, just by beating the Packers. It's huge!

Rodgers has looked off for the last year. Sure, he still occasionally makes great plays but the consistency and accuracy we were used to seeing just hasn't been there. This makes 14 consecutive games of sub 100 qb rating for a guy whose career average was like 104. Maybe he is past his prime???

As long as Bradford stays healthy the Vikings are a better team with him at QB. That defense is something else.

I thought it was Marlon or Pop Wayans playing most of the game until he picked Rodgers

I think Bradford is a better QB than Teddy overall. I think he is a significant upgrade at the position IF they can protect him. As a Bears fan I was actually relieved to see their O-line looked pretty exploitable last night. If the Bears have a strength its their front 7. So.. IM SAYING THERE'S A CHANCE!

You can't take one game and thing our offensive line is exploitable. Look at the game against Tennessee. Hill didn't get sacked once and last night Bradford was sacked 5 times. Green Bay has always exploited our offensive line pretty well no matter how good they are. The offensive line isn't spectacular but they aren't horrible either. I think once they mesh with Bradford's tendencies in the pocket, they will improve.

I sure hope I'm wrong about the deal. Yesterday is exactly what we needed and something I personally don't think Hill would have given us, and that's touchdowns. I'm going to be cautiously optimistic now because let's be honest... Injuries are always a concern.
