I helped my wife set up her short-term disability stuff. Now it just needs to go through the approval process.

Hope everything goes well, we had to change insurance companies to get my wife’s surgery covered as our original insurance only covered it if you went to an all inclusive place which Mississippi didn’t have at the time. They wouldn’t cover going to a specialist so we switched and the new insurance is so much better anyway.

Agreed, they make billions off of people who never use their service and then try and deny the small percentage who actually need it.

Had a parent ask last night if I could do something about the coach from the other team yelling because it was "stressing his kid out". His kid isn't on this guy's team, and the guy was yelling from the 3rd base dugout to his right fielder. I just told the parent that no I couldn't.

should have told him that you could easily fix his kids stress problem......by taking the kid off the field and back home where it seems the kid belongs

That family is special. During basketball he said we should have rules on how tall 12 year olds can be because it isn't fair that they are so much taller than some of the other kids. I really thought he was joking so I laughed at it.

One of my favorite parts is giving out the awards to the winning teams in each age group. Never fails that some parent on another team will come up and say something like, "all the kids should get a trophy, they all tried so hard". I always say something about how a lot of people try hard in life, but not everybody is a winner.

We have some hard charging coach on one of the teams who never shuts up the entire game.

My Son says he gets distracted by our catcher in the dugout yelling when he is at bat. That's the only kid who is actively talking during at bats.
