The entire team leads the majors with 36 double plays.

They don't have anyone hardly on the bench to pinch hit right now. Who is going to play both of their positions? Berti is still on rehab. DJ is shutdown. Verdugo is on paternity leave. There is no one to spell these guys right now unless you call an instant out up from the minors and deplete the relief staff to do it.

He's been another pleasant surprise, didn't expect anything from him this year

I guarantee the only reason the umpires called it fair was because it did get caught in the netting.

Yeah its rough you have Jones but that means Cabrera to SS, and Trammell (who I don't believe the Yankees have even SEEN swing a bat) and Grisham (yuck)

Yeah, I will be most happy with a split. Hopefully, they get some breathing room next with 3 against Detroit and beating up on a weak Astros team again.

Well, it was the right call to make. They even reviewed it to make sure.

I thought the stops and starts would be over by now. I never thought he would be hurting the team up until this point.

I feel bad for Grisham because he should have walked twice last night if it wasn't for the crappy umpire calling obvious balls as strikes on his at bats.

Maybe the Orioles read the forfeit thread here and are just going to pitch someone from the crowd or the University of Maryland.

Gil has to be pumped up with confidence after outdueling the Orioles ace yesterday. The key was not walking anyone until the last inning.

I wouldn’t be so sure about the Tigers they have decent pitching. The Astros might get hot at some point hoping it’s after they face the Yankees.

Berti (3B) and Burdi (RP) both rehabbing with Somrset and getting close to return. Good news for Burdi as he hasn't allowed an earned run yet in relief.

Nothing to review the ball caught in the netting was proof enough.

And the Yankees probably still would have trouble hitting them.

The Astros just optioned a 10 year veteran who was batting .099 to the minors this week. Their ERA is 27th in the league and they have the 4th worst record in the entire majors. I'm not worried about the Astros this year.

No telling how many at bats garbage umpires are ruining this year.

Even Jim Palmer couldn't believe some of the calls against Grisham and he's such an Orioles homer.

Be good to get some reserves back.
