You can learn and remember something. Maybe one day you'll not mix up Star Wars and Star Trek stuff.

Exactly! We were told everything was planned and it seems the only thing that ended up being planned was the BWI stop. I'm still not sure why the drivers that were there couldn't just pull out the other apparatus to be photographed even though they were out of service because they didn't have enough people to man them.

And I took some photos of planes landing and taking off as we waited for the apparatus to be moved.

it was more of a generalized statement in as such as plans were made to meet other people and travel to place to photograph apparatuses.

glen is correct.

Fire apparatus photographers are whackers although I have no idea why that term.

Train photographers are foamers because supposedly they foam at the mouth at the site of trains.

I learned last night that one of my best friends in the fire apparatus photography realm is going to be a Dad. His wife is due in November.

I told him that as honorary Uncle, I was going to buy the kid their first pair of checkered short as he always wears checkered shorts when we photograph fire trucks.

ALL RIGHT NORTH CAROLINA

North Carolina lawmakers introduced a bill to ban giving children participation trophies for youth sports activities.

The three Republican state representatives — Sens. Tim Moffitt, Eddie Settle, and Bobby Hanig — introduced the bill, called Eliminate Participation Trophies, to the state senate on March 30.

The bill says that any award given to children for youth recreation activities must be based on identified performance achievements.

where can i donate to help make sure this passes

I hate having to legislate something like this as it is clearly an intrusion into everyday life, but it is sad we live in a world where they had to do something like it.

Thankfully after T-ball, he's never gotten a participation trophy.

Spuds, Saraste, go check out the All-Name Tournament and cast some votes. Looks like there's a tie that needs breaking.

Half of the stuff at BWI was out of service with no crew so they wouldn't bring it out for us.

We stopped at Station 33 and found out they were at the Academy training all day.

I almost killed the one guy in the group who kept repositioning the engine at Station 21 and told me I had to move my car because he couldn't get a photo. I and my two PA friends had no problem taking photos of it with my car where it was. Than after I moved it, he put the ambulance over in that lot. If he asked me to move my car again, I was going to drive it up his butt.

And then after that station, we were done because a few clouds came out.
