Glad she's home

Hospitals are bad places to be

Hope recovery is fast!

Being home from the hospital is a great thing.

SO when my M-I-L died my F-I-L told the funeral home and the priest at the funeral to NOT announce we were meeting at the church hall after the service.
My M-I-L wanted everyone to gather at a local restaurant to have something to eat and talk.

So he went on the cheap and ordered sandwiches for 25 people at the hall. As soon as the service was over he jumped in a car and scattered away like a cockroach when the lights go on.

So I made my thoughts known that there needed to be something after he died. Or course this was before my sister in law moved him 100 miles away from his home and is having the service 100 miles away from her home.

Now the vast majority of people he knew for the last 30 years of his life wont be going.

My idiot sister in law asked MY DAUGHTER (Because she can't ask us) "How many people from YOUR side will be coming"

My daughter, who I guess has learned a few things from me, responded "People don't usually RSVP for a Memorial Service." Bless her heart

So moron S-I-L ordered a buffet for 75 people at some local place near her. If 20 people show up I will be surprised.

So if anyone is anywhere near Milford, MA on Saturday and wants a free meal come and get it.

I'm guessing the meds are antibiotics. Hospital stays are not always fun. I have the April, 2023 t-shirt as proof. Hopefully your wife will be getting back to normal in the next few days. Things to think about include what caused the sepsis and what can be done to prevent it from reoccurring. Though I don't know much about it specifically, I do know that divert is fairly common.

That just means more food for you.

Have her invite glen. Then she'll have no leftovers.

I'll only go if it's being held at The Giant Crab in Myrtle Beach or another good seafood or Chinese buffet.
