that is why if you ever come into or leave my work.....i will neither greet you with a "welcome" message nor tell you what kind of day (although i would sometimes like to ) you should have

So, the person that is the "contact person" for the baseball/softball program is starting to screw up big time. We didn't have games last week, she said it was because of spring break. Well, coaches and parents started asking me why we didn't have games and I told them they needed to ask her. Turns out, she didn't schedule any games for a 51 team program because "she needed a break". People are losing their minds on her. A few parents have pulled their kids from the league. Not just for that, but for how unorganized she is. Two of the teams I had playing last night are down from 13 players to 10 already.

Then, we had games on every field at our complex last night. She works for a different department, so she isn't there. Teams started showing up for practices. I told them we have games on all the fields, so there weren't any practices. They said well she told us we could practice out here. I told them they needed to take that up with her because she scheduled all the games so she knew the fields were booked. People started calling her to complain. She sent me a text asking me to "handle" the problem. I told her it wasn't my problem to handle, it was hers.

I was the person running the basketball program. I had 4 different gyms I was scheduling, never had 1 issue with teams being double booked. Apparently people have been calling our office to complain all morning. When I got in, my Deputy Director asked me what the deal was. I flat out told her, "I guess the contact person can't do their job".

I tried to tell them that these partnerships were a waste of time. My main goal now is to make them all implode.

I think that was the reader friendly, uncondensable version.

Let's say this person is fired, then what? Who takes over? We know it won't be you bigdog. They already want you there 65 hours a week and only want to pay you for 40.

His coworker is a moron and can't schedule games. People asked him what the issue was, he told them to call the coworker. People complaining to his boss, he doesn't give a S (which is good).

Just had my first post operation doctor appointment. The lab results on whatever was in my kidney will take a few weeks to get back. I still have 2 more procedures to go through: first the tube that is sticking out of my back needs to be internalized. Doc wants that done this week. Then at some point, they need to go in and get the rest of the garbage in my kidney. I have not been given any kind of a time frame as to when I will be able to go back to work. The store has inventory tomorrow and I feel bad about missing it. Nothing I can do, but that's the way I am.

If you go out of your way not to enjoy your day, you are still getting what you want and by default enjoying your day. Just in your own special way.
