Very disappointed that it came out at $200 (was really expecting $100 in line with TC lite), but we are all degenerate gambling addicts who will buy it anyway. If you try and flip this you will be lucky to clear $20 in profit lol

Nope...same number of boxes...Limit 1...lol....Now public sale tomorrow...Thats a different story...because the limit will be 0...cause thats how Topps public sales go..

For any product to be a "set-builders" product, one has to be able to build the set for a reasonable price.

Ginter gets you 192 cards per box for a 300-card base set, so you should be close to completing the base set with two boxes.

Topps wax boxes from the 70's/80's got you 540 cards.....you almost always had a complete set from two boxes....

Also, back then boxes were comparatively cheaper....about 2-3x the minimum wage.

Nowadays, even flagship is expensive.....with the US minimum wage at $7.25/hr, it's about 10x for a box.....

So basically Topps is saying that their preferred customer is the flipper/bot who will buy large volumes and reduce administrative and shipping burden. The allocation to 582 members is akin to a pity drop which allows Topps to earn a fee by offering club membership and satisfying their club-stated requirement for early access to products while maximizing operational efficiency by catering to the bot market.

Now you're catching on!! They don't give a crap who they sell it to as long as they sell it...just like on my ebay store...I don't care who buys it...just someone give me the money and I'll ship the card...

you just complained (as usual) that one box of FF will get you half a set. Topps made 660 card sets with 36/12 or 792 card sets with 36/15, just over half the set in both cases. The minimum wage thing is so over the top - the point is we have inflation, and we have always had a full wax box that did not yield a set, the very epitome of what a set builders product is.

You need to work on your math.....half of 660 is 330...half of 792 is 396.

Both a lot less than 540.....
