I saw comments in the RACC fb group about Barrymore being fake/secretarial. Anyone else hear that?

I saw that too, but the copies they had at my store were all different, and some looked like the marker ran dry.

For any Presidential autograph collectors — Donald Trump just released a book for pre-sale. The description states they will have hand signed bookplates. $230 is a bit less than the recent Obama memoir, but still pretty steep.

Just a reminder for those interested - when he offered "signed" hats to raise campaign funds, they ended up autopenned (in addition to secretarial TTMs for quite some time).

No clue on this one, but proceed with caution based on the history.

From looking at the 4-5 signed books on eBay, they all look different. I'm confident that it isn't auto-penned, but I don't know about someone else signing for her. When I pickup any signed book, I look to see if it is auto-penned, or fade signatures.

I received my 2 KISS signed CD’s yesterday. One of the inserts has Gene’s signature only. Probably nothing I can do about it but this is the reason I buy 2 of everything that allows it.

Drew Barrymore signs DB with a heart. I went through the stack at Barnes & Nobles and picked the sig I like the best. Definitely not an auto-pen as none of them were remotely similar. They also looked real to me and similar to her signature on verified items I've seen.

I ran by one of our Barnes and Noble stores yesterday, was able to grab Yours Cruelly, Elvira and two copies of Natalie Portman's Fables (I want to try and trade one for SW cards). Natalie's signature is really nice on both but this one is large as well. I think since I don't plan to cut it out of the book, I prefer the bookplate in this year's books to the blank page found in the ones last year.

I was able to purchase a couple of Natalie Portman books on their website this morning for $20 each (+ CYBER15 promo code). Grohl's book was also available for $35 but didn't get that one. Couldn't get out to B&N until Saturday night and unfortunately was out of luck on finding a copy of the Portman book, but still had a pretty decent haul. Have extra copies of the Melissa Benoist and Jimmy Fallon signed books if anyone has a Portman to trade. Could trade cards for one also
