Caught a structure fire today.

Just as we were getting ready to leave to go to the firehouse to clean for banquet, the tones dropped for a structure fire 4 minutes away from our house; just across the PG county line. Yelled to my wife to drive herself and took off in my car. As soon as I got onto MD-210, you could see the column of smoke. I pulled in right behind our Chief and Squad. The place was an old abandoned house and was well on fire; practically gone by the time the first engine arrived. Our engine was at the hydrant feeding water to Bryans Road's Engine and for a secondary line. The fire was put out and the PG County fire investigator showed up to start an investigation.

At an overpriced kids place for my son's bday. Him and his friends have been in line for 45 minutes. It's way too crowded here.

It's bleepin' February...I just had to turn on my bleepin' air conditioner. My car said it was 90 degrees at one point on my way home from the show. My air doesn't not come on very much in the summer because of the way my apartment faces (and being on the first floor).
