High end Soto is so hard to come by. Prices are very reflective of that. It’s why your best investments will always be in the players who are most strongly collected.

Just redeemed a pretty cool card from 2022 S1. I never do redemptions but I figure Soto signs a ton for topps…hopefully

Buyer’s premium $4 080

Total $24 480 of which the seller would get $22 440.

Oh ok, is this not the highest price for this card yet?
I was offered $17.5 (edit $15.7k) for mine while they were on the bay before the market dropped. I think it might have been this time last year (Dec 15th 2020). Will try and check.

I thought this was a very impressive price off of ebay, but then I don’t sell much on ebay any more, so I can quite possibly be wrong.

Last sale was 12.5k the first week of October. Refractor was 5.6k at that time.

Refractor did 6k a month ago. So I’d say 20k is pretty good. Probably would have seen more if it was in the Premier and not Monthly.

I was a little shocked to see that kind of card in the monthly, but an extremely solid sale IMO. Just wish I grabbed one earlier, like almost everyone else

Yeah this did well for the weekly auction. I agree that the monthly premier auction would have even more eyes and better marketing for a higher hammer price in the end.

I based my opinion off the last eBay sale on the auto version. Several months ago the Gold auto sold at $28,400. I just thought this would hit $25k+
