Thanks! I'm not 100% sure on what college I want to go to, but right now my top choice is Adelphi University. All 9 colleges that I applied to are schools where I would dorm, so no matter where I go I will be leaving home.

I want to stay in NY to be close enough to home, though none of the colleges I applied to are in NYC. They are either upstate or in Long Island.

Suny Albany wasn't for me, so I bounced after my sophomore year and have no regrets.

Man I wish we had more active players, I feel like 1/3 of the players are unavailable just because the owner isn't active.

Imagine if we had teams full of active members. At this point I feel like I could offer Arenado nothing and half of the teams wouldn't even notice

By active, do you mean trading just for the sake of trading? I'm happy with my team, but send me an offer in my favor and I guess I'll be "active".

Hey Hollywood, can you update the draft order in the OP please? I got the 55th pick from Seth last night for Wilson Ramos. Thanks.

On a side note, I'm really happy with my team right now and might be done trading for the offseason unless I get an offer I can't refuse. I've worked it in such a way that I won't have to drop anyone else before the draft and I like the core I have in place right now. My pitching is a little weaker than it was in the start of the offseason by losing deGrom, Price, and a few smaller pieces, but my hitting has improved tenfold and I have a bunch of bats in the pipeline as well.

I'm active, but I just don't post in this thread tons because I have nothing to say a lot of the time here. I set my lineups everyday and post something in the thread when its part of discussion.

Also when I get a bad trade offer I usually just ignore it. (I.e I don't want Jay Bruce). I'll work on just declining them for now on

I've gotten to this position as well (I still have to drop a player but there's 2 that I will choose from for that) and I can say that it's really hard to make trades once you're there, as you won't want to drop anyone else to make room for a trade and you won't want to trade for anyone you know you will drop.

No, I mean at least declining trades or messaging the person who proposed it to see if there's anything there. Being active in discussions, etc. Really wasn't referring to you Gum.

It'd be nice to get a decline at least, maybe talk it out. To be fair at least everyone does set their lineups so I have to give them that.

I get what you mean. Deathy is almost non-existent in the offseason, and KidGriff can be hard to get a hold of as well. Most everyone else tho is easy enough to get in touch with

Yes I know I should work on declining them. In all honesty it is a pure laziness thing for me. I get the email on my phone and then look at the trade offer. If I like it I open up my computer and respond If I don't. I just delete the email.

I cannot wait for the season to start, I cannot stress that enough.

I'll probably end up making another small trade or two. But I'm feeling pretty confident right now, Davies got me a little SP depth to go along with Wacha which is one thing I wanted before going into the season. Not seeing many (if any) weak spots right now.

Got a whole list mapped out of players I want in FA down to hitters, pitchers, and overall. Been reading articles and listening to podcasts. Am I insane?

But it's fun to look at sleepers and do your research on players. Also, have some minor league adds ready to go.

Can the season start yet?

Real talk tho, I don't mind that I have over 15k posts. This forum is a nice outlet during school, keeps me informed, and helps me grow my collection. Plus I'm actually doing some stuff on the forum (like coordinating this league, for example), so it's not a complete waste of time, and I don't let this detract from my actual life or things I need to get done. Anyways, if I didn't spend so much time here, I'd probably just spend more time gaming anyways
