Posters in that thread say the TRU stores closed right after the series 1 release so some of those could have been available at both stores. By the time series 2 was released all of the series 2 had to have been shipped to and only available at meijer stores, since there were no longer any TRU stores open, and not some to both which makes sense due to all of the series 2 packs having the “meijer exclusive” wording printed on the front of the packaging.

Edit: here are photos of the different packaging. The 2018 series 1 state “now only at meijer” and contain 2 purple cards. The series 2 states “only available at meijer” and contain 1 purple card.

Okay friends I really want to attack Ohtani hard in the offseason. Scraping up about $3500. I already collect all the variations from series 1/2/update so I’ll tick a few of those off the list. But want to hit a big rookie. What say you guys on that? I’ll get a white jersey pitching, a red shirt, and a with bat variation but besides those what should I go after? Thanks for any responses!

Now that my days doing much better, i find this post, like the many other posts youve made when people on here ask you directly and indirectly what they should be buying, your advice always lines up with what you currently have listed for sale in your ebay page. This is the 4th time i know from memory that youve done this. If your “great buys” advice are to be taken seriously, why are you always selling the exact cards you encourage others to buuy?

Yes you do, but he explicitly stated his budget was $3500. All of those other cards you just mentioned are well above that which is why you didnt recommend those in this instance, but im sure youre well aware of that.

Yet, trueblues is listed for 3400, conveniently right under your 3500 budget. I also think you confused what i said. When i said all of those cards i was referring to the autos he just mentioned he also has listed that are all well above 3500$.
