Those Revolution parallels are pretty sick. Can't beat the price on that Bennett either. Any Gold Prizm /10 for under $5 is a win in my book.

Got a couple more low numbered Pacers RCs in today. The Turner 10/10 is the most expensive card I've bout in a while ($15 dlvd) and I paid more than twice as much in shipping as I won the Christmas for.

Nice pickups. Now is probably a great time to sneak in a Turner deal in any set not named NT.

Yup. Great time to buy is right when NT, Immaculate and Flawless are dropped. People have all their money tied up and are "desperate" to get some cash.

Thats a great Turner. Love the Hickory Jersey.

Thanks guys. I honestly didn't expect to win it. I just put in a bid just above what was the current max and figured someone would snipe it and win it for probably $20 or more. Won it for $13.59 and was pretty damn happy about it. Goes well with the Joe Young I got last month. I'd love to add the Rakeem Christmas too but I've only seen 1 pop up and it was after it had already sold. Think it sold for more than the Turner I just got but I'm not positive because it was a BIN/BO.

ah...the days when I could still listen to the radio, artists had to actually put effort into their craft back then instead just audio recording themselves pooping and vomiting and calling it a track.

I still have like 100 cd's from that era. I have almost every single Wu-Tang and Wu affiliated record that ever came out.

Nice card, clean design, only numbered to 10, and featuring the only guy I PC. I'll pay $14 shipped from China all day long.

Nice grab. People can pay thousands for "player worn" jersey cuts. Makes more of these low numbered base parallels and inserts fall through the cracks.

I love it. Low-numbered parallels are the things that hold value anyway. All these jersey swatches aren't going to hold value as the years pass, especially the "event-worn" or "player-worn" stuff.

I ended up getting this for $11 shipped. For the most part, booklets are just cumbersome, but Panini did a great job with these.

PROS: Acetate finish
Letter patch (been on a letter kick lately...I'll show them off in a new thread in the future)
Dated to exact game
Photo from game
Write-up about Korver's performance in game
Korver actually had a great game

CONS: Storing this thing

Still look back and marvel at this card. It actually inspired me to find one for myself yesterday. Should have something to show off by the end of the week, and I actually got it for $0.02 cheaper than this Korver went for

Flair Final edition is a pretty handsome design, really nice card there.

Maravich is a killer addition too, love adding tough finds to my own PC even if the cards are under appreciated.

I have a bunch of UD stuff coming in and a couple complete base sets that I got for under 10 dollars. You read that right.

I'll probably have everything in by early next week. Really excited.

Looking forward to seeing what sets you've got coming in. It's crazy how cheap you can find old base sets for.

I got this in today. I love it because of the vibrant color on it but there is a ton of minor surface scuffs that can't be seen in the scan (or on the ebay listing). Only paid $4 dlvd for it so I won't complain too much but it was a little disheartening when I opened the PWE and saw the surface so rough looking. I've got 3 more of these incoming from COMC soon, so I'll have just over half the set completed within the next week. Definitely been a slow build.

Ok....now you've got me intrigued! In the meantime, let me note that I have a full letter incoming where the cost of the card and the cost of shipping were very similar!!!

Man, that's awesome. I remember when the McGwire Team USA RC was selling for crazy money back during the HR chase with Sosa. Those were some of the funnest times I had collecting as a kid.
