Also - perhaps not quite apples to apples but I find it quite funny that the same people complaining about retail stock, LCSs snagging retail off the shelves, hoarders, flippers, etc - are more than likely the exact same people that would complain about universal healthcare, participation trophies, and the like....

Do you want capitalism (free market, no limits, supply and demand pricing, scraps for the last to feed stall, etc.) or do you want socialism? On these forums, for cards, it sounds like you want socialism (enforced limits, product for all, reasonable pricing, higher production runs for all, mid end products for my kids to rip, etc) - does that opinion run true with these other facets of life? Or are you more of a boot straps kind of person when it comes to those?

Well sirs, since this new market isn't going anywhere - it will certainly toss you to the wayside without a second thought - all I can say is pick yourselves up by the boot straps, and try harder. Or find some other hobby because this new version of the hobby - where there are now billions of dollars floating around at any given moment - whether you like it or not - does not care 1 iota for you or your kids and their desire to rip tens of dollars or hundreds of dollars of Mosaic or Prizm or Bowman.... The next man up will take your share, no question. Sell your collections and move on - because this isn't going to change for awhile. Will it collapse? You betcha. Then maybe you can make your way back and pick up with Prizm blasters that used to collect dust on the shelves back in your day...

Should we assume that means "5 cards per pack" and "20 packs per box"... or the other way around?

A 20 pack mega box seems ridic. But so does a 20 card pack.

Guess on MSRP on these Megas? 49.99? If these are 100 cards and hobby boxes are 48 cards, even though you can get hobby exclusive sets that are more desirable in the latter, seems like Megas will provide a ton of value. Already promised myself if I couldn't find any at retail price for Chronicles I would not buy any but if I can find these at 2-2.5x retail, might just be too tempting to not buy...

Just went to a Walmart to get some tape for shipping. Not one thing available for sports cards. Not even hockey anymore. Tons of Pokémon type stuff though.

We might be first sometimes but our stores are almost always wiped out - think I saw Prizm basketball on its first stock at a Walmart - and found a restock of Mosaic (as it was being stocked) - that is it for my retail finds this season...

Then again, I'm not a fan of the hunt and buy my product elsewhere most times.. If anything I imagine the amount of Targets in our metro area hurts stock levels since there is such a spread of stores in the area.

Wonder if the rumors from a few months ago are true that Walmart is moving away from sports cards... seems like a few people are reporting that their card sections have been revamped with zero sports cards.

Looks like 10 parallels/silvers per box. Wonder how frequently the premium cards fall. If it follows the blasters, there's probably an average of 4-5 per box.

Using the assumption and logic that Panini sends breakers hot boxes, these could be a good buy at $400 haha. Excell leaks the hot mega boxes out.
