Ask HRBELLI2017 he's the one fascinated with the whole Trout vs Belli. He also keeps posting Bellinger in the Trout thread.

Not sure if he has a huge Belli card collection and is trying to pump them to Trout prices or what his angle is.

Maybe this can be entertained when Bellinger has 9 full seasons under his belt and do a comparison then?

I keep forgetting that I am debating with sneaker kids turned card flippers.
Hard to argue with kids that still live at mom and dads house.

Bellinger, Tatis, Soto and possibly Acuna plus a couple more young players are bringing back competition for best player in baseball that Trout never had before. He is going down the ladder soon.
When a skinny Bellinger passes Trout in homeruns I will be here to remind you of this thread.

Reminds me of when everyone bandwagoned with A-Rod who was Btw way better than Trout at homeruns and many things and as Trout an HGH roid user. Now crickets.

Ken Griffey Jr. was supposed to definitely be the new HR King.
Unfortunately injuries caught up to him.
A shame because he was an incredible player.

McGwire and Sosa who can forget but now dismissed by the sneaker tot generation because they took roids like there idol Trout.

Albert Pujols an incredible player who most thought would be the next HR King. Age caught up to him like it is surprisingly faster with Trout. Trout will never equal Pujols.

Barry Bonds even though hated by many I knew would be the new HR King and is like it or not. A suspected HGH and roid user like Trout but far superior.
Ironic the tater tots bring up Bonds and his transformation physically and head size comments. Then completely brush away the fact Trouts head has grown "HUGE" which is impossible unless HGH is used not to mention the water bloated roid package you see Trout as today.

Bellinger is not going to wow everyone with all stats but he is as well rounded a player as you will see. Far superior to Trout when you average his glove, arm and his bat.
Trout will go down as the most over rated pumped player ever.

You know you’re behind in a debate when you have to resort to throwing insults around. Do you know one thing about the game? You say he’s a better all around player yet you keep resorting to the HR argument. He’s not superior to Trout...not even close! Trout goes on a “slump” and still puts up better numbers than Bellinger. I love the fact there’s great talent in the league right now, but Trout has simply proven himself year after year to be elite talent. And give the HGN BS a rest...it’s only hurting you more than helping.

Bellinger is better and most importantly "naturally" better.
Has Trout ever won a Gold Glove?
Can Trout play multiple positions? Nope.

The concept of "great" is very subjective. I can see how this might be a difficult question.

Lol, CO must’ve either legalized or decriminalized psychedelics and I didn’t hear about it, or you smoked something laced (not insulting you, I’m just beginning to think your on something). I can’t wait to revisit this thread in 10 years lol. I’m sure by then you’ll have sold your stash and would rather go about your day then talk out of your arce.

At HRBELLI2017 your biggest argument for Trout vs Bellinger seems solely based off home runs (clearly you like home runs, it's in your title).

The problem with comparing home runs between the two is that when Trout joined the league back in 2011, home runs weren't such a major factor in the game as it is now or in 2017 when Bellinger joined the league. Now, all players are taught to adjust their launch angle and go for home runs. Back in 2011 had the league changed in that direction already, Trout absolutely would have had more home runs in his first 4 years.

You're also forgetting that balls began being juiced around 2017. It was
harder to hit home runs pre-2017.

Bellinger played 1st base. Big deal. One of the easiest positions to play at. Trout could easily be moved to 1st. It's a position you put aging players.

I'm a Bellinger fan, but it's becoming clear you're just trying to pump your Bellinger cards.

In addition, Bellinger plays in the same division as the Rockies...even more chances of getting home runs as he plays in Colorado wayyy more than Trout has in his career.
