That’s exactly what I did. Besides the 89 Upper Deck and some random boxes, I just picked up boxes when I saw them priced right at card shows. I def opened a few along the way!

I would love to do something like this. I was planning on doing it, then I got sidetracked when I was at a flea market and a guy had a bunch of old wax boxes. I asked how much they were and he said $10, I told him I would take them all. Then he started adding up $10 a pack.

I'm sure he still has those cards I had a similar thing happen at a candy store with a bunch of '88/'89 unpriced donruss packs in a bin. I grabbed a handful of '89s for the heck of it and they rang up @ $5 a piece - they were insulted when I put them back after hearing the price.

I really want to do the 80's pack display now - really cool!

I will wait until this $44 Mega Box hits $440, and then sell it with similar others, and buy a sweet Hobby Box with proceeds from the combined 1,000% ROI Retail Boxes.

I hear ya’. I bought 8 boxes of 2018 n.t basketball for a average probably of $950 that I promised I wouldn’t open and hold..that lasted about one week . All I have left of that is 3 ok cards and like 4 autos of Eric Snow lol. fast forward to last years Nationals in Chicago I almost had a heart attack when I saw the same boxes for around $15k each����… It got so bad that I gave my daughter my storage unit keys and when I buy them get them sent to her and she puts them away..There have been a few too many holidays with her saying I’m acting like a crackhead begging for just one one trip to the unit and at least a Bowman mega to rip..��
