Since SGC updated their website, is there a way to see what step you are on? I can't seem to find it now.

I'd assume the status in the last column on the my orders page would update. I just have one in "Received" so I can only assume when its goes to grading next week sometime that it will update there. Definitely not as intuitive as they had it before for sure.

It took me about 5 minutes to find my images from the orders I had previously. It will take some time learning how to navigate...

Just mailed them my 3rd order, in a month, last week.

I used them last year, when it took 4 months turnaround.

I'm having a lot of fun grading with SGC these days... Also, turning a tidy profit

I'll probably send in another 10-15 card order next week, as well

Nice to see. I am more cautious in how regularly I send, but I do have a 4th order in their possession. Once I sell off stuff, I then send more. Not going all in just yet.

I would love to see SGC get the same returns as a psa slab. It would really help balance the grading market out and hopefully show people it’s not the slab, it’s the card. Psa still seems to be in the mud. I think sgc has to promote their ass off to get a heightened following. Too bad it didn’t work out last year for them

They need to partner with some of the major league teams or better still with Fanatics. Partnerships can be very beneficial. If the Wagner SGC had been promoted more heavily that could help, but SGC is the standard for Vintage already. Becoming a major player in The modern market is taking time.

Just went to Post Grading today! Pumped! Getting these and my first HGA order in the same week.. going to be some good mail days hopefully!

Sent my favorite pull so far into SGC..

Laviska Shenault Prizm Black /75 Auto... don't care what happens to the other 6... just want that to 10 lol

Just got the grades in from MHz first SGC submissions, and man, they are tough graders. I honestly thought 3/4 had a chance at a 10, and I got two 9.5’s, a 9, a surprising 8.5. Definitely disappointed in those grades, BUT it makes me more confident as a buyer in buying SGC 10’s. I’ll submit more, but I’ll just need to have a sharper eye.

I am finding most graders have become super tough recently. PSA destroyed my vintage this week and SGC did it the submission before. I also traded a few people who have recently gotten back submissions from both companies and they seem under-graded as well.

I’m okay with this. 10’s should be hard to come by. Whether SGC under graded them or not, I don’t know, but I see this more as a need for me to be more selective on what I send in future submissions. I’ve purchased a lot of SGC 10’s over the last few months, and I’m feeling good about that.

I am sending to SGC what I would have sent to PSA. The cards I have consistently sent to PSA HAVE GOTTEN the 9/10’s I expected. The cards I am sending to SGC HAVE GOTTEN THE 9.5/10’s I expected. I am not ALL in with SGC, BUT the cards I am sending could just as well been sent to PSA when they had a value service.

My 8/13 (acceptance) order shipped out yesterday! Taking all the willpower I have to not check the results but I want to unbox them with a little surprise. Should be in hand 9/9 (tomorrow) since I'm in state.

It is still around 20 days right now. They are doing this to make it appear they are grading ahead of schedule. If they do approach 40 days then we will probably see another price increase. SGC prides itself on turnaround times and they will deliver on that promise.

You are at 13 business days and they are at 16 business days right now. It will probably be done on Tuesday next week.

I made an order today and the difference in the order number between today and my order last month is 22,000. Assuming the numbers are in order, that means they had 22,000 orders in the past month. I really hope they don't have to raise prices if demand keeps increasing.

I think that PSA will have $100 grading on October 1st, which will take away some of the strain from SGC. I think they will be fine if they continue to hire and train new graders. Looking at how SGC grades pre 1980 cards, I typically prefer SGC over PSA for the same grade. SGC hammers on centering and eye appeal is often times better for a SGC card.

The problem now is people are starting to make money off of SGC even at $30 a card. People are not sending crap like CSG is getting. CSG has turned into a bottom tier grading company because of what they grade. Appearances are everything. SGC has quality cards graded, while people are sending in their 1991 Score baseball to CSG to get graded. Even if CSG and SGC grade equally as hard, SGC is now seen as a higher tier company because they are grading more valuable cards on average.
