Gotcha. I can understand that.

There’s no lock up for 15% of employees shares on this one. Sounds like Coinbase all over again.

Yea I just don't believe in the RH business model and what I've seen from their financials doesn't look very promising.

Now that everyone offers commission free they have no advantage over the other, bigger, brokers besides the great UI.

You'll pay a pretty penny for them, I imagine

I'll be happy to pay it. I just don't see a path to profitability for RH. The more users they add, the more money they lose.

Is this true? Can you cite this? It isn’t That I don’t believe you but that is normally pretty guarded info.

I have heard $2500-$4500

Edit: mine was the average, he was referring to median. Did not catch that originally.

Thank you, I like to read things for myself. It’s the accountant in me.

Fwiw, that is a huge disparity between the median and average. They must have some huge accounts for the difference to be That big.

AMD killing it lately.

Wishing my order in May filled but still happy to have what I do for the ride (and happier those Intel announcements pushed me to buy more).

Anyone in any Green or renewable stocks? Or is it not a very exciting space at the moment?

Certainty is. I think I'm in the same boat as you. Wish I owned more but no complaints here. Own enough to still make me happy with the move.

Wow. Amazon with an awful quarter.

Not-so-funny story.

We, as a group, sell $3200 puts on this stock. We have been selling them every week/month essentially just renewing the contracts at expiration. I am going to be sweating bullets if it gets down in the sub-$3300 range. I'm definitely not looking for sympathy or any lines on risk management, because frankly we can cover 100% of what we sold. However, We will be bringing our cash reserves to zero and liquidating some legacy positions that we build our options positions off of.

Really wasn’t expecting that from them. Haven’t read anything from the call yet but doubt Jassy wanted to set expectations too high for his first quarter. If they were ever going to announce a stock split this would have been the time.

Still bullish but we sell the options to generate income. It’s generally a couple hundred per share in income that goes to bottom line and/or we can pay it out. If we have to own the shares via execution we will liquidate much of the position because for Risk management purposes.

I agree about the split. I was hoping it would be today. Now I am hoping it will be soon.

I have no Amazon directly, except for some that are tied into some ETF’s. Might be time to buy a share or 2

Completely normal. Expected if you think about it.

Square would have had to pay a premium on book value to acquire. SQ should drop by that perceived premium. It often provides a good opportunity to open.

What do you think presents a better long call opportunity?

SQ or AMZN?

As of right now? SQ

Most investors couldn’t execute on a long call of Amazon.

Different story if Amzn splits.

Let's say you don't intend to exercise the call.

The 9/3 3600 Calls are ~$21 - pre earnings these were selling for ~$120.

Strangely Square ended up opening up 1% to $250.

Maybe seeing a bit of a short squeeze now as Square is up 3% to $255.
