So what would you do with a higher end Fati card now? Sell/Hold?

Card in question - 2019 Topps Chrome Sapphire Purple /25

Disclaimer** I don’t collect soccer, I don’t watch soccer and have no idea about soccer other than he has potential if healthy to be a high end player and is only 18.

Any and all help would be amazingly appreciated. Genuinely curious if it’s a hold or sell.

I would hold. He's 18 and they'll shoot him up with stem cells in his knee and he'll be good as new.

Why do you think there’s such conflicting reports about his knee? I’ve seen everything from 1 surgery to 3

Usually doctors just remove the meniscus, but doctors are trying to repair Fati's. I don't know exactly why, but I'm sure it's important for soccer players to have their meniscus. Knowledgeable soccer fans feel free to chime in on that.

I've read multiple reports say he's had 2 surgeries and is about to have a 3rd. I'm not aware of reports saying he's only had 1 or 2.

Meniscus repair recovery takes longer, but is better for his long term health. Meniscus removal, he will be able to walk on it pretty much right away and will be back to playing sooner, but will put his knee at increased risk for degenerative changes in the future. If the meniscus tear is appropriate for repair, they’ll do that for someone so young.

Defenders who have had meniscus injuries have done fine, Baresi and Terry spring to mind but neither were reliant on mobility. They've had a more pronounced effect of attacking players, Fernando Torres was never the same again, Luis Suarez was successful but had to transition into more an orthodox centre forward. Biggest effect was on mobility and pace, both lost a yard of pace. Fati has youth on his side but I wonder about the longevity a bit.

Mount hitting triple digits helps. Sealed boxes are where it's at now. I wouldn't want to break at the current price level

No one is buying these boxes for $2k because Mason Mount scored a goal and is selling for $100.

My point was, since you need it broken down, that added players selling for triple digits helps set the floor higher on the value of this product.

Look at what his gems bring. It's simply added value in an already loaded product.

I have quite a bit of this product sealed, I'm well aware what sells it.

Yeah, if you're gonna say it dropped $400 to $600 you're gonna have to provide a link.

Last 2 sales on ebay were $1800 and $6000 for a lot of 3.
