Just got this email from Indigo for the signed Schitts Creek book:

“Thank you for your recent Indigo order for Best Wishes, Warmest Regards (Signed Edition): The Story of Schitt's Creek ISBN 9780762480715.

We're sorry to let you know that the publication of this edition has been cancelled. We know this is disappointing news, however as an alternative we will be receiving limited stock of this title which will have a signed bookplate affixed inside the book.

That’s a lie bc my Indigo order was delivered last night.

They just took too many orders is all.

Yeah I'm figuring that out. What REALLY happened is that I asked when the book would be delivered when it passed the delivery date by a week and a CSR did me a "favor" and cancelled the order.

Still trying to get them to admit that.

Also thanks for posting. Gives me some good ammo to use since they also told me that ALL the orders cancelled automatically after a certain date.

My delivery date is Nov 16 so I’m guessing I’ll get this same story in a couple of weeks. Awesome!

You will probably be fine especially if the book has actually shipped.

My problem was I made the mistake of contacting customer service and the low level rep saw out of stock as the pre order had sold out and hit CANCEL ORDER without checking first.

It hasn’t shipped yet but 11/16 is the expected delivery date on the order. This is my worry if this is coming from Canada and not shipped yet.
