Being a red sox fan, I remember a guy named...

Daisuke matsuska (sp)

That went well

How was Strasburg in his first game?

long term he might be ok, but how are dealers going to sell this when it is overpriced, overproduced, has a weak checklist, and the big chase guy sucked in his first start?

I think the distributors are at greater risk than dealers. Dealers that are in at reasonable cost always have a market for this at less than $90 a box.

It's the folks that held back on allocation or speculated on accumulating more that are at risk. If they take a bath we'll be better for it. Maybe next year they will go back to be wholesalers, rather than speculators.
.
If a couple of newbie mass breakers suffer, that will reduce speculative demand int he future as well.

You guys realize the COST of this product is around $630, right? BO has been steadily selling these in the $1,400 range and all eBay case/box sales have remained in the $1250-$1400 range. There is a LONG way to drop before any dealer or distributor is at risk.

From a breaking standpoint, Heritage is always #1 in profit. Nobody is going to lose money breaking if they bought in early unless they are so ignorant to the product that they don't pull out the SPs. No baths to be had here for the most part. Not the product to be worried about.

The best chance we have of anyone learning a lesson is GQ. Brent was spot on in his earlier post.

Of course there's no Braves RC actions or Tigers Rookies. Just got those 2 in a case break. Lol.

Yes, A&G and GQ should kill newbies, especially on the retail level, which never even took off during #ALLRISE fever

Corner grades.

(I've also been popped on cornerless cards. Still irks me.)

is that the official image for the devers ? looks like hes in someones back yard ?

also it would be cool if they had chromes of the rookies in high number . I guessing devers has no chrome in this ? like last year a judge base chrome would have been great for high number . im hoping this year he has a chrome with the rookie trophy logo .

I like the pic they used, gives it an old style look.

KIR is a baseball card group on Facebook. Keep It Real. Awesome group, about 32,000 members.

I think we'll need to see a centered copy to be sure. That Devers is way R-L.

Glad you are not a GM... Would have him back to Japan after first spring training game.
Strasburgs MLB debut was epic.....didnt he toss like 14ks or something? I remember his base chromes were $40 a pop the next day.
