This happens nearly every year. History repeats itself. The most price action occurs the two weeks leading up to the Super Bowl for both QBs. Seems like insuring my collection is the way to go for me.

And considering the ridiculous ROI I've gotten over the past 5 years, it'd be greedy to do not do so.

Yeah but I think it was at that bid before the SB, right? That means no one bid on it after the SB.

One possible theory is that people thinking about selling any high end Mahomes decide to wait until the new season therefore putting little to no supply on the market and supporting prices. I could be entirely wrong but just a thought.

Perhaps they were trying to instill fear and were looking for panic selling so that they can pick up Mahomes cards for cheap
