Nope, he does not have the same diet...
Before his 2021 MVP season, Shohei delved into really knowing about his body, and he found out that his diet at the time did not match his body.

Why would in the world would I willingly take a loss on an Ohtani Bowman RC auto, of all things? Highly, highly doubt it is going to drop in price any time soon. I'm perfectly OK with holding. I paid 7k for it, and I don't think it's unreasonable to think I could get more come the playoffs.

Will Smith heating back up would certainly benefit Ohtani going forward.

As exciting as he would be to watch in the HR Derby, I’m glad he’s sitting it out. Hitting that many balls in a short period of time that hard has to be brutal on a healthy arm, much less a recent surgically repaired elbow.

Sad to see Ohtani in a mini slump! But I am excited to see him play my Tigers this coming Friday. Will post new pick ups until he breaks his mini slump.

They've made some tweaks to the Derby format to put a little less wear-and-tear on the participants, but I am glad he's skipping it. It's probably best for players in their early to mid 20's to fill the roster.

I'm going to Dodger Stadium today, so hopefully he'll have a nice return to form. He's lost something like 10 points off his batting average in just a few games.

I'm willing to bet that I am the only person in this thread who watches MLB.TV every day, and it took until July before I realized why Shohei's New Balance commercial features Kool & the Gang's Hollywood Swinging.

As Homer Simpson would say, D'oh!!!!

It might not be so bad, but I think MLB.TV plays that ad about a dozen times a game. I just never thought about it having a "clever" factor.
