though TBH, total # of parallels are creeping back up again, depending on how you look at it, and particularly if you include 'stamped' cards from All-Star Game or 582 Montgomery sets, and various Factory Set &/or Sapphire. In the /x cards, Independence Day is relatively new, as is Father's Day Blue /50, while Camo has dropped to /25 and Vintage Stock /99 and Advanced Stats have also joined the team now.

but what is down is "retail" parallels, at least a little; those hit a peak in 2014. but I think those will come back as the 30 card Aaron Torres insert type sets probably don't excite that many in the other 29 MLB markets. In this release, Topps brilliantly put a Vlad Jr. set in a retail exclusive in a store that doesn't exist in Canada...

It’s not on the packs, so you won’t have a definitive answer. Multiple people have broken multiple cases and said they’re hit them roughly in line with that number (30 per case).

As an aside, I really don't care what the print run is, it's more the principle of it for me. Topps should print the stated odds on the pack. They chose not to for some reason.

The sell sheet never said gold foils are in hobby. Blowout did.

Just trust all the people here who have broken multiple cases and say it's 1:2. If there's nothing on the pack, then it will be literally impossible for you to find proof.

But yes, Topps should have put odds on the pack.

Yeah but he is one of the hottest commodities in all areas. Can't fault Topps here.

Just saw you post this.

A Complete Base Card Set would be the standard 1-350

A Master Set would be the 1-350 + the 6 completed insert sets.
No parallels, just the base and base insert cards.

Some might argue that the Silver Pack Complete Set should be included as well.

oh he is hot here on this site in Rookie Card money mania land. but those aren't Rookie Cards and I doubt very many collectors really want them to start with, and would rather have a random lottery ticket to scratch off via retail parallel Rookie Cards.

Topps could have at least put Vlad Jr. in the Wal-Mart set for some Canadian fans rather than Rhys Who? Hoskins.

I think we both did pretty darn well then.

I've picked up a lot of good steals in this years series 1. This was by far the best though.

just back from walking past my local baseball card display. All 2020 cards were completely gone. Last Friday they set out one of those blue cardboard display boxes with all the different pack formats tucked into them, with a heapin' helpin' of extra blasters, etc., piled on top. Plus there was a whole peg of the Meijer's blisters w/1 pack and w/2 purples.

today, all gone. all the Power Cubes gone too. in a town of 8,000 some souls.

though I was looking forward to spending my twilight hour here reading a brand new pack of 2020 baseball cards, I am quite pleased about this. someone here really really likes ripping full price (actually > Wal-Mart price) retail Topps. this should make my local rep bring MOAR Rookies, more often, must have MOAR Rookies!

but this also kind of reminds me of the summer of 2017, which resulted in me never ever being able to buy a single pack of Topps Chrome that year. the something wax era is trying to creep back....

Disgusted with sellers who put those do not remove "seals" saying it's not returnable if you take it off. Like you're not supposed to take it out and look over the card and if it's a mess you can't return it.

I believe those are sold direct by Topps "vault" on eBay...at least that's how I picked up some a few years back.

Especially when they write all over the toploader so you can’t see surface marks without taking the card out

I don't have much of a problem with it. Seller is just trying to protect themselves. If you don't like the card just send it back that's all. It shouldn't be an issue really.
