everything is stale right now. stocks, crypto ,housing and cards.

Got everything spread around and i mean everything above.

The only thing doing good for me is international buying power. US dollar is actually powerful in other countries. Just so weird to say that.

Yeah we know you don’t like Panini, but they‘ve actually announced Digital to Physical challenges.
Since the Fanatics takeover seems to be off the table for now they‘ll also focus again on the new homepage.

I‘m not really excited short term for on any of these projects due to crypto winter & recession, but Panini is still has the best outlook with Candy/Topps long term.

Topshot is still stuck in over-minting hell though with 26M moments and the lack of scarcity to be good collectibles and also can’t go gamification like Sorare.

They took notes on everything I said. Called for that since the beginning where they made me the moderator for the Panini discord FUD channel. I also was the first one to push for live autos, which they did as well. BTW, I am not joking about the moderator part.

The issue with Panini is they are also minting the hell out of their NFT's, and it is so bad that nothing can sell at all. I have five of the Stephen Curry challenge pieces /99 and not one is moving for even a few dollars. NFL ALL Day and Top Shot at least can move things. Sold a bunch on there the last few days, things move.

I also withdrew $400 from Dapper today and it was in my bank account within an hour. I have $1500 sitting in Panini Crypto Wallet. I guess I have to make a Bitpay account and deal with the nonsense of trying to cash out. The two different wallets and the stupidity of three marketplaces makes that place ridiculous to buy/sell.

Edit: What is the overall print run of Panini NFT's? They have to be pushing well over 20 million right now, probably more. They have over 1.1 million NFT's in the Mosaic and World Cup soccer cards alone.

I'll have to check out the details of this.

Again, Panini was slow to adapt and evolve in an extremely fast paced crypto/technological environment. In the end, that was their ultimate downfall. The whole concept of NFT pictures as an investment strategy is all but dead. Now we return back to what these Panini NFT's really are....just rebadged versions of their regular Blockchain cards.

I really, really don't see these things ever taking off again, and there's zero chance we ever see a return to those 2021 prices.

Think Project 2020. Majority will be forever cheap enough that the true collectors can hoard them to their heart's content.

pokemon has 23 billion + physical cards printed.

The demand matters more than the print run.

Yeah it's obviously a fine sum of money but it's significantly lower than I would have guessed. I wonder what his paper gains peaked at.

this Sunday (1/8) will be the 2 year anniversary of day I stumbled upon this post and dipped my toe in the NFT water...

Still holding an account that is worth x20 more than I bought in for .. not to mention I've given away over 320+ moments the last 2 years..

The ride has been wild... it's the only ride i know as a collector

follow me at reddiemiller31 and i'll throw you a moment on sunday..

peace, have a great weekend

However, they were pack pulled and I turned around and reinvested into low # season 1 players (which has more than worked out).

It seems like there are also many error moments to snag as well (Zion S2 wrong hometown, and season1 Lonnie Walker/T. Rozier/T.Davis without numerals after their last name and a few others).. The Discord (which i never used until last week) was key for learning fast. aside from the crashes (still in Beta), this whole thing is set up extremely well, and its only getting better.

PS- PSA2PAC, whenever i do cashout my investment amount x2, I'm sending you a thank you PSA card.. lol.. That random post by you is what led me down this road and it will not be forgotten (just might not be until after the summer, lol)

oh yeah... and for the record.. I sent PSA2PAC a few cards including a zion psa 10 rook. a man of my word..

word. be easy

This is the problem when things are not so decentralized.

I remember saying long ago here that there was nothing stopping Top Shot from shutting down and for your collection to be gone or rendered basically worthless. I was called all kinds of names but here we are seeing a major platform possibly going down.

Peak project 2020 vibes. Hard to see the forest from the trees when the theoretical funny munny's rolling in.

We were all millionaires on paper at one point.

I get it but there was a high level of hostility from some folks who have now disappeared when they were adamant that Top Shot was the thing that was going to replace cardboard cards. I wish those folks would come back and at least own up to maybe being slightly off.

Oh well.

Come on now. You've been on here long enough to know self-accountability and crow eating is against BO's TOS.

A lot of us still made money with Top Shot. You just have to know when something is too good to be true it won't last forever.

Breaking News: When you hover over a Moment in NBA Top Shot's Marketplace or in your Collection, it will now auto-play instantly.

Still no app though.
