Excellent performances and dialogue, as usual. I especially liked Billy Bob's scenes with Sam Elliott.
I'm really hoping in Season 3 that Cami ends up losing her business to Gallino. I'm not sure how she is going to replace such a huge upper echelon amount of people leaving and the loss of Cooper's always right leases anyway. The only question is will the Aussie geologist leave with his new gal or will he try and prove them all wrong in the gulf?

The key to these kinds of shows is to have enough smaller groups of characters within them that click, so that as the scenes rotate through them, even if there's one or two storylines lacking, the other three can carry an episode. Tommy's good opposite everyone, so that's a real ace up their sleeve to have developed a compelling central character like him. When things are going rough for Billy Bob, his lines are delivered just the way he did in "Bad Santa", which is one of my favorite movies.

I agree somewhat...but I also rarely go to movies theaters, so I get my value when movies drop to streaming, as well as the various shows

Only 1 that's really useless to me is Peacock...used to have the WWE shows for value, but not anymore lol

At least Paramount + just grabbed UFC for every Saturday night

Yeah, there's usually enough new movies on pretty much each of them to cover the value, and at that point the TV shows a back catalogs of movies are pretty much free. 40 years ago, we'd have been renting videos. 20 years ago, DVDs. It's all about the same.

Wasn't a binge.. but watched the Fallout season 2 finale; didn't play much of the game, but thanks to Goggins and Ella Purnell I'm hooked

Also..I did binge season 2 of Gen V, to get caught up before the Boys last season coming up in April

As well as all 4 seasons of the Witcher a few weeks ago

It was very action forward..and honestly, yes you could tell it was a different actor by looking at his face, but other than that, mannerisms, voice/accent/speech was pretty much the same..

The end of the season finale...was...brutal..

I binged Arcane over the last few days. Brilliant show. It's hard for me to say this is a video game adaptation, but it's the best adaptation using characters from a video game and it's not all that close. I would highly recommend watching this if you haven't already. It's only two seasons...18 episodes that are around 35-40 minutes each so it's a quick watch. The two seasons tell a complete story, but they do leave to door open for spinoffs which I guess are coming. While the Jinx character is a complete rip off of Harley Quinn/Joker she's still an amazing character.

Pretty much every character in the show is great. Fights scenes are brutal especially when Vi is involved. Music is awesome. Animation is awesome. I really can't say enough good things about this show. I will say the show is very women centric but it's not a show that is preaching women can do whatever men can. There is also LGBT stuff in it so if that bothers you, the show might not be for you (it's not part of the main story, but it's there). I can't say it's for kids because there is some sex (like PG-13) and a lot of violence (and a lot of it is brutal).

Rewatching all of Reno-911, so good.
How come all the really funny comedies are dead and buried, political correctness?
Have all the writers been neutered and been told to play it safe, not wanting any one group to be the butt of a joke?

I mean, you pretty much can't write anything without offending someone.

My wife and I just started watching the series "Alone" on Netflix. It's actually pretty entertaining. I'm not really one for TV shows but this is watchable

Rarely watch TV but was recommended Devil in Disguise by a subordinate.

Disturbing but interesting. The actor who played the DA was fantastic!

I’ll be good with TV for awhile.

Is Mayor of Kingstown worth watching. I sat thru about 1/2 of the 1st episode and turned it off, over excessive use of F* Bomb. I don't mind the language but Geez

It is an outstanding show, but if you had issues with the F bomb, you may not like other things the show depicts.

Language and Violence is no issue. I feel the F* bomb is way over used.
I will continue. I enjoyed Wolf of Wallstreet and there were over 500 F* bombs.
Thanks for the input

If the rest of it doesn't bother you, then you should enjoy it. It is very violent. I actually hd to give it a 2nd try myself. I watched the 1st episode and didn't really think I would like it and took a break and watched something else. Then I had my heat go out and had to wait all day for the HVAC company to show up, so I gave it another try and couldn't turn it off.
