Until someone else triggers him, then they start getting counted. The problem is that you retrigger him within hours.

Thank you I am basically a simple person, if you want brains I am not who you want if you want truth well that is what led to a lot of the conflicts on this site. I am never too big to apologize if I realize I was being an idiot which a couple of guys in this thread can attest to. My likes are also simple, beer, music, Yankees games and most baseball in general and it used to be collecting cards until they went above my budget. It is hard to walk away sometimes but it is the better option most of the time.

Thanks we are good our house is far enough away so it didn’t affect us. My wife had to work from home a few days because some of the roads to get to her job were flooded but I look at that as a plus, she saved gas money on those days.

Still on my 1950’s kick and what’s funny is hearing the original versions of songs that I only knew from the remakes. Most of the time the original is better but sometimes the remake surprises me.

We can start a whole thread on this.

I grew up listening to 50s/60s music and watching ShaNaNa and going to see the Doo Wop legends in concert down the Jersey shore thanks to Mom and Aunt. I really like the Bay City Rollers version of "I Only Want to Be with You" more than Dusty Springfield's'.

I'm still trying to figure out which version I like better of "American Woman;" the original Guess Who version or Lenny Kravitiz's version.

Not from the 50's but Johnny Cash's "Hurt" is one of the rare times the remake is better IMO.

The song I heard this morning was three cool cats I didn’t catch the name of the band but I can look it up. I only knew of the Beatles version which is decent but the original was a more bluesy soul version. The original was better. The Coasters did the original it was written by Lieber and Stoller.
