Did you ask? If not, that's on you. Glen loves to feed and house visitors to his B&B.

Question.

At what point could technology have stopped and you still would’ve been happy enough.

I will let you know my answer after some replies.

2005.

AOL chat, flip phones, and video rental stores weren’t yet obsolete.

I wouldn’t want all technology to stop but if I had to give a hard date it would be 2003.

Right before Zuck got the idea for Facebook.

I guess I am not that progressive for me technology could’ve stopped after the color tv and maybe the microwave oven. Sure I am using my iPhone to text this message but if forced I could live without it. Home computers were good enough, who really wants to have an iPhone that lets people bother you more than you want to be. What really makes me laugh is all those cd’s and CD players and now vinyl albums are making a comeback. What’s sad is only old folks such as myself remember calling your favorite radio station to request a song in hopes you might be able to record it on your cassette player. In my eyes todays youth would just call me an old codger but technology has ruined a lot of things that were some of the best things. Todays kids hardly spend anytime outside, hell they will never have the humor of making prank phone calls without being tracked down in a minute. Too many things to list that technology has ruined, sure it has made so many things better but it has probably erased as many thing that brought us older folks fun.

I hopped off around ~2006 when it went from only college students to allowing HS students to everyone.

Even then it got relatively weird real quick.

If you notice most technology is centered around eliminating human contact. Face to face interactions are very awkward for a lot of todays younger people as they don’t really have to do it that often.
