Hey guys,

Honestly, has anyone ever sent a package to PSA and it never made it? Just got lost in transit somewhere?

I see others having orders fly through the system, so it's just a luck of the draw? They have a bin of orders and they just go up and grab one, so it seems?

lol
Check your order in your account. I logged in this morning and noticed they pushed out my expected date even farther. It will essentially be 4 months by the time my cards are expected to be done.

Search email for QRC email from them, sounds to me like a damaged card situation

Nothing from them. I have even sent them two emails over the past couple of weeks asking about the order and if there was anything wrong and no response from either email.

This is pretty standard for vintage ("pre-modern") bulk orders with them right now.

Mine isn’t vintage though. All modern sports and TCG. It is value bulk.

I had three orders pop this week at the $19/bulk level. One was received by PSA in September on 9/22, the other two they received on 12/5 - not sure why the 9/22 order took so long but the 12/5 orders went through quickly. Each batch was around 60 cards. I have 3 more orders from 12/5 that went to assembly this week.

I was worried about the grading after reading some posts about god's becoming more frequent. One order was graded fairly, one order came back better than expected, one came back worse than expected (but not quite a grader of death type bad, but very harsh). I do mostly 80's & 90's non-sports.

Maybe they were more backlogged in September, but less so more recently and moving at a quicker pace as a result?

They are definitely not doing FIFO based on my dates above...

45 card Value bulk (ultra modern) from October finally completed today after being in assembly for several weeks (I'm sure bumping down some of my grades). Worst submission percentage for me over the past year...
7's - 1
8's - 6
9's - 18
10's - 20

I have a reholder special that's been there since early September that was due to complete mid December. It's been in assembly since a few weeks after it arrived. I guess I'll go through the headache of trying to call first thing in the morning to see if I can get any info on it's delay.

Curious. What type of ultra modern, baseball, basketball. Football?

yeah, whenever something takes a while thats usually a bad sign. The subs for me that have been flying through have been getting better grades than the ones that are dragging. No doubt something in QA is getting downgraded and then taking a while to reslab.

It was a mixture of everything, but all that's been released within the past year. The majority were from the sets below:

2023 Bowman Chrome Baseball
2023 Ginter Baseball
2022 Prizm Sparkle Basketball
2022 Bowman Chrome U Football
2022 Bowman U Basketball

Yeah my TCG subs have been going through the New Jersey location the past six months or so and typically fly through assembly. Most of those cards have been from new TCG sets, but I've had most of those subs typically be 90% or better gem percentage. Sports gem rates have been a little lower, but not this low.

Lesson learned. Don't put early 1980's cards with modern (2022 & 2023) on the bulk orders. Pushing over two months now in the green check mark assembly. I would rather pay a little more with additional shipping vs waiting that long for an order to be completed as the sell window for the modern probably has passed with others getting their orders back quicker.

My 26 card order just arrived at PSA yesterday. Hopefully they come back in a decent amount of time. I sent a few that I am pretty sure will come back as 9's but it was worth a shot to send them. I'd be really surprised if I get anything less than a 9.

I had a batch in assembly with the dreaded: "Problem Order".

PSA contacted me today and they damaged a card. Only 1/60 damaged so not too bad for PSA.

Absolutely 100% unacceptable. They are professional experts dealing with delicate collectibles... and they damage them, constantly. It's unreal, beyond laughable, so extremely absurd that we can hardly believe it's true.
