A brief backward timeline of my failure to procure any of these online (and yes, I have the Target alert set).

-This AM's 7AM CST Target Alert: Kids' last day of school so was packing lunches and getting ready to walk my daughter to school. Phone was still on Silent. Turned off silent and looked at my phone at 7:17 and saw I missed it.

-Yesterday's 11AM CST Target Alert: Saw it at 11:11AM after being detained at work. Felt it buzz in my pocket and assumed it was a text from my wife as she had texted a handful of times about end-of-school party stuff. Was part of the only 30-minute stretch that I wouldn't have been able to immediately step away and order online.

-Day/Night Before - Refreshed every hour on the hour from 5PM-2AM, particularly at 1-2AM before (as Houdini seemed to be honing in on that timeframe), during and after Houdini's Mixed Bowman breaks.

I'm sure I'll miss the next one in spectacular fashion, as well.

I feel like that 2nd reload this morning was a glitch. I was on it within the minute and it said sold out despite 5000 refreshes...wife was trying too instantly and same result.

Wouldn't be surprised if those orders are cancelled...or if they were simply leftovers from the earlier feast.

Buyers of products are never a problem. When buyers stop buying products that's a problem for everyone. If you've ever sold anything on ebay and feel like you've made a profit then this post is pointless. I've bought 20+ boxes on the secondary market for anywhere from $24 to $30 a box. I feel like it stills a decent rip at $30. If I spend $100 on a box and pull a Franco auto it was worth it. It's all a risk and people are entitled to decide how much they are willing to risk. I'd rather buy 4 boxes of this at $25-30 then most hobby boxes for that same price.

Default 2019 Bowman Mega-Let the Hunt Begin!!

Hobby boxes are selling so high for me that this is fun and appealing to hunt megas. Plus I can't hunt down hobby boxes. Sure, 1 guaranteed auto in a hobby is great... But the chance of mojo hits out of boxes spent for the same amount of money is fun. Paying more than retail is definitely not worth it to me right now.

I'm definitely buying more stuff at target because I've been in there so many times... Didn't realize there was a cvs pharmacy. I mean they're getting more $ from me for sure.

This is true. The Excell rep I spoke with said high-volume stores will receive significantly more of these than the others.

My Target restocked Megas today. The initial drop they had 12 boxes. When I went in today they had 17.

It's called supply and demand and it's a basic tenet of the American Economy. It's the first thing taught to you in Economics 101. If Topps chooses to raise the price, fine, there is a point out there where supply exceeds demand, and prices fall.

Yes, my earlier projection was based on an average across all targets USAwide.

Tons of targets around me had about 50 or so across both waves.

When distributors are marking everything else up 100%, getting something at SRP feels like a steal.

Glad people have found these sealed. Found 20 boxes at my local target, all cut open on the bottom. Packs from Bowman 2019 were placed from the gravity box on the wall into each box. I ended up taking all the boxes to customer service and let them know once again people are doing this. They don't care.. not that I figured they would. I report this stuff every time I go in there. Always searchers and scammers switching packs and ruining retail stuff.

If you don't mind me asking asking where in the US are you? This is becoming a HUGE problem all over. Feels like a ring of people. Totally annoying

Right and I have a feeling in the very near future, retail product is gonna be behind a counter only!

I live near Excel's headquarters in Des Moines and was wondering if anybody has had any luck contacting them before on when and where their products will be stocked? I know, I know somebody has probably already brought this up/tried it.

I think it needs to be reiterated, this is the Excel problem and not Targets. They don’t control those shelves nor stock them. Could there be team members that understand the value of them and potentially “put them to the side” to purchase? Probably. But to think most stores have that problem isn’t correct. They are so busy with manning the floors, fulfilling store pickups and drive up orders that a shelf in their store they don’t have to man is welcoming for a lot of them.

Easiest way to find out is stalk your local store...or get lucky and find the Excell rep when they are stocking. Talk to them. I know the schedule of my rep, so I know when he stocks each store in my area. I also know one of the Target stores, fortunately one I do not visit, has an employee that grabs these (and other hot retail boxes) before they are on the shelf.

They won't be....Target does not care in the least about the trading cards, nor do they want customers coming to the counter for them. A few select will limit buyers, but that is not the norm, imo...
