Packers fan, but I live in Vikings radio country, and closer to US Bank than Lambeau. So I tend to hear more of the local Vikings stories than I do Packers.

That must have been how I made the association. Thanks for clarifying!

It also might be because I don't live by the belief of you can never say anything nice about other teams in the division or opponents, like some people here

Packers never get to open at home it seems. Have opened on the road every season since 2019 and including the 2024 opener in the last 10 season openers only have opened at home twice in 2017 and 2018.

2 weeks until the draft. Call your shots boys, on what your 3 rival NFC North teams will do in the 1st.

Vikings trade up to #2 for Maye. I know everyone is saying they trade up lower for JJ. But I don't think the Commanders are sold on any QB outside of Caleb that high, and will grab Penix JR in the Vikings spot. They offered a boatload to the Bears to switch places, and were rejected. Seems they arent sold on Maye or Daniels @ 2

Packers need help on the line. But no panic to do anything dumb. They stay put and grab Tyler Guyton to replace Bakhtiari

Lions grab whatever WR is left at the bottom of the 1st. Adonai Mitchell or Ladd McConkey. Deep WR class here.

I think unless MN gives up at least 3 1st and other picks they are not getting to two. Unless they decide to give up Jefferson and a 1st.

The Vikings have 2 firsts this year. The 11 and 23. Future picks are worth less in a trade. It would net to 3 firsts, to give the Commanders the 11 + 23 and their 2025 1st. But that seems like plenty to get the job done.

I think they might have to throw in a 1 or 2 2nd round picks besides the 3 1st. You move down from 11 to 23 you are no longer getting a elite player anymore so if I am Washingtons GM I am making a team overpay if they want to move up.

We shall see! That is the fun of these hypotheticals. But I think you are wrong. The best QB will go #1, and that is the premium spot for a total fleecing.

If the Commanders are not sold on the 2nd best QB. And feel the talent on QB's 2,3 & 4 to be close. Dropping back from 2 to 11 is not a far fall. And picking up a 23 in the current draft, and what should be a 1st in the top half of 2025 is a solid haul if they are not sold Daniels or Maye.

Bears take Caleb and best WR available

I'm going to throw out a wild guess on the Lions. One of the top QBs starts freefalling and Detroit trades out of the 1st as a team moves up to grab that 5th year.

Vikings trade 11 and 23 to 5 and take the remaining of Maye/Daniel/JJ. What they really should do is stay at 11 and 23 and take the top edge rusher available and Penix or Nix at 23. If KOC is the great QB coach everyone claims he is, he will make them a star.

I do also think the KOC and Kwesi can't afford to miss. Which is why I think they'll mortgage the future potentially.

I like it. If Dallas Turner is there at 11, the plan works. But Atlanta really likes Turner, and they pick 8. If they took the next best edge at 11, Jared Verse would be a reach, and a good 10 picks too high.

Flip it, and take Penix Jr at 11. And hope to slid into Verse at 23. No way Penix gets past the Raiders at 13

Bears don't need another WR they need OL help Bears stick at 9 grab a OL.

Vikings trade to 5 giving up 11 and 23 and take either Maye or McCarthy.

Packers take a DL I think as Clark in last year of deal and they rather draft his replacement then sign a 30 year old Clark to a 3rd contract.

Lions go DB or WR.

I didn't look super hard at Chicago's needs, mostly checked a couple mocks, by people who spend way to much time on this stuff. WR kind of seemed like the consensus. Pick #9 is also a spot they could trade out of. You have Minnesota/Denver/Vegas at 11/12/13. And a bunch of teams that don't need a QB betwen 5-10 (debatable on the Giants and Titans, but I don't think either grab one). If they all hold steady, instead of panicking and jumping up, Chicago holds a great spot for Denver or Vegas to jump Minnesota.

In agreement with what Minnesota is going to do, even if it might not be the best thing.

Dont listen to Pacman. I think you were right. Bears hit the Oline last year, with paying Nate Davis and drafting Wright in the top 10. This year they already traded with Buffalo for Ryan Bate and Coleman Shelton from the Rams. Both centers. They also added a pair of tackles in Matt Pryor & Jack Curhan.

They are looking past the O-Line, and have Keenan Allen on a 1 year deal to play mentor to both a rookie QB and whatever WR they draft. DJ Moore is a free agent after 2025.

If they take anyone with the 9, it will be a WR to learn and grown with Caleb.

They take a WR it will be a reach IMO at 9 as I think the top WR might be Thomas. If they don't go OL get a defense. But as a Packer fan sure I hope Chicago reaches for the 4th WR at 9.

4th WR at 9? Everyone and their uncle knows Marvin Harrison Jr will go in the top 5. If the Cardinals don't trade back, he is their guy. Malik Nabers & Rome Odunze are both top 10 picks.

Thats 3 game changing WRs. One of them will be there at 9 for Chicago. Giants seem locked in on Nabers.

We might very well see 4 QBs and 4 WRs all go top 10. Jets would jump on Brian Thomas Jr with the 10th pick. No reaching at all Sir.

I think Nabers and Odunze could both be gone at 9. If 4 QBs go top 5 with Harrison I would not be shocked if if 6-8 Nabers and Odunze are picked in 2 of those 3 spots.
