You are flying 2000 miles to get to where the cards are? Does that qualify as a business travel expense?

It does indeed! IRS doesn't need to tell me how to run my business. If I want to operate it inefficiently, that's on me lol.

Every time I go out of town I log onto Ebay = business trip. Waiting on the ski lift, log onto Ebay, boom.. lift ticket and lunch at the lodge = business expense.

Can you mix non-auto cards with auto cards in one of these submissions?

Probably, but you wont be able to get the autos authenticated.

This is correct. Autos will only get "authenticated" in addition to grading if you select duo grading which costs $36.

This is for the $18 special, correct?

Did they just skip from "arrived" to "R&ID" or did they move to "entered" between?

Correct, not sure about the second part as I did not check until I received the "Thank you for your PSA order" email today.

Another thing, anyone else getting the new log in page asking for email then password? I'm having issues getting in from my Chromebooks, but desktop is the same as it has always been

I don't go that far, but hey, if you don't get audited.

Do need to start keeping more receipts of those restaurant purchases w/ 1+ guests present.

Must be some high value cards/add up to a high value to offset the flight! Look forward to the video on it, been interesting to see what you have been targeting lately.

I would guess there would be a rush to drop off at the National, but I would think that the first rush would have been at the announcement of the special, so people that had been building stacks would just send them off right away, and then another right right at the end for people that accumulated cards over the 3 week period to send in. Will be very interesting to see if PSA gets the number of cards it anticipated.

Has anyone else have a "receive hold" on their National submissions?

I had one so called in they said it was on hold because I checked the no qualifiers box. They informed me that i couldn't check the box and had to accept qualifier's. They said policy has changed and cant submit with no qualifier's.
Did I miss this or is this new?

Anyone else have this issue?

That's odd because this was sent out for each order that I had submitted. I also had checked no qualifier for every single item. The below email I think was just sent to everyone where they erroneously had the option in there as it was corrected a week later where the option was gone.

The "No Qualifier" option was erroneously available for selection when you created your July Special submission through the Online Submission Center. PSA has removed the "No Qualifier" option from the submission process as part of the continued effort to streamline operations and quickly process orders. The option was shown in error and has now been corrected.
We are unable to accommodate the "No Qualifier" request you chose on one or more, if not all, cards in this order and will continue process it without the option.

Thanks
Just started a new submission and saw the update.
When I called they emailed me asking me to confirm the new policy.
But they didn't reach out to me.

Looks like FIFO is not in play on these. I had 1 order arrive on 7/14 and another arrive on 7/18. The 7/18 arrival was entered yesterday but no updates yet on the 7/14. Hoping some of the early subs don’t get buried when they get back with the NSCC on site submissions.

I bet the ones dropped off at The National will be in the system before many that were mailed in.

That’s what I’m thinking but I’m hopeful that both of my orders so far make it in before the deluge.

My last 2 orders that I will send are cards that I want to be at the very end of the line so I’m going to send out at the latest date possible. It’s a bunch of prospects that should get their calls next year. I hope to get these back around Spring Training so I’m hoping they get backed up a bit haha.

If orange political people get away with million$ in tax loophole$, so does Little Johnny Card Collector

Ask strangers at restaurants if they collect. Instant business luncheon

NJ grading office is open. So they should be adding a lot of capacity by the end of the year.

I think a lot of people are NOT submitting, even at the current $18 level because they are waiting for "accurate" grading to hopefully return...even if the sub price is $4 a card, if you are getting 8's or 9's on cards that should be 10's, it just isn't worth it...

So this has to be postmarked by july 31? That’s a sunday so if you print out a label on sunday but drop it off monday, that would qualify?
