Well, at least someone's happy with the added playing time.

So now Russell Gage tweaked a hammy too. Says day to day so that’s good.

Solid depth pick up. He’s thrived under Bowles before, I like the move

If I'm Brady, maybe I just don't come back. I'm serious. 45 years old with an O-Line like that? No thanks, I'm not going out like that if I'm Brady. He should just quit.

You mean, Mr. Blu of Earth?

To be fair, the NFC, while weaker than the AFC, isn't going to be a cakewalk for whomever wins it.

""League sources indicated that Brady's time away from the team included a trip to the Bahamas at an exclusive resort and primarily for family time with his wife, Gisele Bundchen. His commitment to family and having a personal life was at the heart of this hiatus from football, and there was no medical emergency, as speculated, or other reasons.""

He's back

I'm loving all the speculation/rumors/buzz while he was away.

Bottom line: he's the GOAT, he will be ready for week 1.

The O-line? That's another question.

I love Brady but all the family time stuff is b.s. if you are an NFL player your are basically away from your family 8-12 days a year depending on how far you go into the playoffs. And I’m sure Brady can afford to have his family travel with him on road trips so he probably sees his family every day which is more than a lot of people with real jobs.

ummmmmmmm. NO.

It's not like he's learning the playbook. Give me a break. This was VERY LIKELY known in advance before the season started. Plus what are the Bucs going to do-----play Brady in the first two pre-season games? He's got plenty of time to gel with the offense before the first game of the season.

I assume that story is false. If his teammates knew he was in the Bahamas while they were working hard in camp they wouldn’t be happy.

I believe it. As a family man, if he committed to his family and booked a vacation while retired, good for him on honoring it. Family always comes first.

Sibs: From what I read from Bucs insider, he was welcome back with open arms by everyone and was sharp as ever in his first day back.

When you win 7 SB's you get a pass.

Then he’s a terrible teammate. But he’s “earned” it I guess

Rumor is that horsey said he had to go on vacation if he was playing again. She runs the house.

They aren't mutually exclusive. He will be more prepared than anyone else on the team for Dallas. Very well could have been a contingency for his return. To me, I love how "normal" he is for a superstar. Again, family always first.
