Anybody have a 1981 Japanese Popy (Poppy) card they would be willing to let go of? I know the 1982 WAS is considered “the rookie” but I think this popy one could be similar to the 84 star Jordan.

Seen some stuff on Instagram and YouTube that Hogan did a big signing over weekend at his beach shop. Did see some cool wrestlemania tixs signed and inscribed get done. So at least he signs tickets unlike some now.

Reviving this thread because I want a Hogan 06 A&G auto. Probably my favorite auto of his right next to the 98 Topps NWO.

Saw one sold for $1300, does that seem about market value now? Hard to say w/ it being best offer.

Not the 06 one, but i would say this one should give you a good idea of what one will sell for. This is a 10th anniversary one numbered to 10 that ends tomorrow. That one that sold for a $1300 offer seems a bit high compared to what other Hogan autos go for other than the 1998 Topps one which is the king of Hulk autos. It might be a situation where none have come up for sale lately and someone really wanted it and was willing to pay a premium.

Good points. I would think the 06 is more desirable than the 10 year even with it being /10. But should be a good gauge. Somehow I just saw a 06 sold for $3500 in August. There’s no way

Leaf has flooded the market with Tyson autos. Almost every sticker has the autograph trimmed.

I wish I bought a few Allen & Ginter Tyson autos.

$2,400 for a SGC 9 Topps 1998 WCW/NWO Auto. Definitely has to be one of the highest graded versions to come up for sale in a while I assume.

A couple more good ones you missed:

NES Wrestlemania - Cover photo of Hogan, first WWF game. This is the first print "Round Seal" of Quality (lower right corner), high grade.

Wrestlemania I Program - Personally I find this way more desirable than the Sports Illustrated cover, and I think it's a month earlier as well. Such an iconic pose and snapshot in time from the first Wrestlemania.

Not the highest Hogan sale either, the 1982 Wrestling All-Stars BGS 9.5 went for $49.2k this weekend on HA.

I'd much rather have the 82 All-Stars than the 81 Popy. North America stronger following over Japan and Wrestling All-Stars will have more set collectors than Popy.

The single most iconic moment in wrestling history! These two were destined for greatness by being #1 and #2 of the 1982 All-Stars set, and the PSA 5 WM3 Ticket Stub is a premier grade with only 1 PSA 6 and 1 PSA 7 in population. Love this moment and the history it represents.

Anyone notice the PSA 10 1985 Topps WWF Hogan # 1 that sold on ebay last night for $15,000?

Looking at the bidding, kinda shady zero feedback user (that is no longer registered today) pumped it from $11,500 up to $14,900 before an apparent valid user won at the 15k. Hmm....
