***Official Pokemon Card Showoff Thread***

Bought these two early last week:

They go well nicely with this one I pulled on Sunday out of two packs:

I am now officially addicted to Pokemon and MTG cards.
Right now I am making small PC's of each to go along with my Sports Card PC.

Delivery was made!


Grades I received were expected. Was HOPING for a 10 on the exeggcutor aquapolis because it was pulled from a heavy pack and it’s got almost 2 swirls! But there was one tiny chip i believe that kept it from a 10.

I’m honestly surprised at how much a charizard VMAX is going for as a PSA 9 and being a modern card. That’ll most likely be sold. Might even sell the PSA 10 and get more vintage cards.


The card I’m most excited about is the Espeon ex. The card was also a personal pull from one pack. I think I’ll have to build a photo light box (or learn how to take better pics) to show all the holos.
I think the ex series may get a bump in prices. I’ve heard that these series weren’t printed as much since it was the first series not made by WOTC

No. its the 1:10 pack sparkle. Second best one in the set. a BGS 9 Tekno (atomic) is up by pwcc and is at $1525 with 7 days to go. Those were 1:15. The refractor (called spectra) was 1:2.

Ok, didnt think it was a ref. But knew it was something nice. That's amazing. I need the zapdos. But I dont think I'll ever buy it for the pc

That series 2 is stupid prices. But I will say this, the sparkle looks like a gem. Ill shoot you a video one day

On the fence about it, if I send in the Charizards for 20 days, def will do these. If I do the Charizards 5 day turnaround, probably not. Dont think they will be 9/10 so not sure if its worth the price to slab em currently. Maybe Ill make a Forget about it box, and send in a bunch and just be surprised when it returns.

But I do love this card lol. So peaceful to me

Gotcha. I was looking a month ago to pick a decent copy up but they quickly went out of my price range. Beautiful cards.

For the Charizards, or the Dragonites? The Dragonites are still pretty cheap.

But yea, the 4/102's have just exploded. I hate seeing it, as I sold most of my collection a few years back when I got divorced. Had like 18 Charizards in it...

The dragonites are around $300 for a good copy. Out of my range for Pokémon at the moment.

And true, they were like $75 when I pulled em out to send to a consignment several months back. Saw a couple High grades near $800 and low grades around $200.

I’m vinny1984 on comc as well but probably not the guy you’re thinking of. I only have about 20 cards for sale on there. Just use it for sh*ts and giggles to flip low end.
