I love seeing all of these Eloy's, truly. Im a BIG fan but can we let his thread go back to page 5 until ST please? I still have some purchases to make.

Last weeks pickups. Plenty more to come though as have not received and/or taken a photo of the most recent additions. Some pretty heavy hitters as well. Plus have not shown off all the collection either which includes the sapphire rookie and auto and other high end cards.

I had offered $200, and I think maybe it was auto-declined? Asking price was $1,250, but all other sales had been in the $175-250 ballpark. I wanted it too....but not $500!

The golds are going 80 to 100, and I got the Independent for 300, so I thought 500 was fair, albeit steep.

Yeah golds are about right. I bought one from someone here for 80. Adds to my other that I pulled back when I ripped quite a bit of hobby and jumbo (nearly a case and a half of jumbo).

Congratulations on the nice card. However, I just am baffled still at the sellers asking price to begin with and then for me personally $500 is still high when the past to were (albeit in August) 250 and the other much less. Same for the independent price but I guess these are just rising and so that's how it is.

Me too! Although I wouldn't mind a cold (literally), slow April for one last buying opportunity.

I picked up a Topps #670 Gold PSA-10 for $250 in September and thought I might have overpaid a little, but right now in the pop report there are 39 graded by PSA, 16 9's (41.0%) and 17 10's (43.6%)...plus 6 more '8' or worse. Based on what I've seen available on ebay, all 4 corners are sensitive.

Good to know. $250 for a #670 Gold PSA 10 seems worth it, based on what is available. The Independence I bought is definitely not a 10, though I am going to submit anyway because I prefer it in the case and grades are less important for the low numbered cards.

I don't plan on moving either the Black or Independence in the spring, but I am hoping to sell some other Eloys to offset the cost of purchasing the Black and Independence. I worry about Eloy being injury prone after this last year.

I have my eye on a psa 10 2017 Heritage auto as well as a chrome update xfractor auto I was sent an offer on...among other items.

I would be open to seeing what you have for sale but don't be talking injury concerns around these parts

I was initially autodeclined as well. It probably took the seller a while to realize that anything near $1,250 was not going to happen. Seller was very nice though.

Im hoping so but you never know with the bay. The seller seems really nice. We've messaged several times today. He said he threw a couple extra goodies in my box w/ the Eloy. I should have it Saturday. Will post pics once it arrives.
