Hits or getting hit. Whatever gets it done.
Dodgers still have nightmares of Daniel the Met. Will they have the same of Dan the Nat?

Right. It's 3 earned right now, but could easily end up being 5 earned.

And we'll close the book on Kershaw, and maybe the Dodgers...

Wow.... Even when he pitches good, Kershaw allows 5ER. Even as a Giants fan I feel bad for the guy. He shouldn't have loaded the bases that's his own fault but still...

I have no horse in this race (Yankee fan), but IMO Murphy probably would my have tied the game up there if the first pitch was called a strike. No reason to go high heat on a 0-1 pitch.
Also really don't like these pitching changes... 3 pitches= 2 pitchers ![]()

Seager should have made the play on Turners ground ball a couple close pitches to Harper and Dave Roberts was dumb enough to bring in Baez, and Avilan had no choice to throw the ball over it's a nightmare that continues to play over and over and over again as a dodger fan every year

The announcers were all over Kershaws nuts the whole game...6.2 ip 5 ER...HE FLAT OUT SUCKS in the post season. At least now they can talk about someone other than kershaw. That was so annoying. I guess when he only gives up 5 thats a quality start for him. His best start is MadBums worst

I would've taken him out with 2 on, but I see why they wanted him to face Harper who was 2 for 20 against him, I think it was. While it's true those are good odds to play, they're not totally accurate. Most of those Harper at-bats were earlier within games and not in games where Clayton was over 100 pitches on short rest. It was still only a walk, but it loaded them for what followed. The odds had changed.
Dodgers need to get a run here in the 7th or 8th and get those last 6 Nats outs in order, before Mr. Murphy can come back up. He's gotta be in their heads by now.

Dodgers is trouble now, thin bullpen, can't use Julio ... if they don't score quickly, they'll have no choice but to ride out Stripling for as long as his arm can handle (and he pitched yesterday).

How that umpire made that call on Puig is embarrassing how do you not go to first base umpire on that? Replay shows it wasn't even close to a swing

Corey Seager 0-4 hitting .180 in postseason...and with a big mis-play at SS on Turner's grounder opening the floodgates.

Blanton came through.
Dodgers desperately need to score b8 in order to avoid D. Murphy at all costs |

Doesn't "flat out suck" in the post season but he does for most of his starts come nowhere near as good as his regular season starts. This one did for the most part compare to the regular season starts we've seen. It just seems he has some kind of curse when he's pitching in the playoffs. Something is bound to happen. Leave him in a bit too long and he gives up a game deciding homerun to Matt Adams. Take him out and all of his opposing runners on base score thanks to his relief/Dodgers defense. Something always seems to go wrong when its his spot in the rotation |
