Thank you friend!

Is the new tracking system more accurate or are they just way behind again? Seems like mine have been in research for a lot longer this time.

In a side note, what do you think about the specials? Maybe they are trying to gauge what people will pay for 10 day and 20 day turnaround.

In my opinion PSA created the new fancy look for order progression but nothing has changed in terms of processing time. To me I think it makes them look worse when I see a message that my order is being slabbed and takes them 5+ weeks to do so.

I am not sure what to think of the new specials. According to the posts here people paying more money to get "faster" grading doesn't actually seem to be happening regardless so it's probably more of a money grab from PSA to give false hope but get paid more.

They are definitely slower and I mean by a lot. In my opinion, because things have not sped up, they made the change for 2 reasons, to get money earlier, no problem with that, and to hide their backlogs. They are taking weeks at every level! Fortunately I don’t grade time sensitive cards like many, but to be in any level for a month or more is ridiculous. This probably is the only industry that CS does not equate to increased demand and prices.

Think there is no incentive for PSA to increase customer service with where the market is. SGC is killing the Customer Service but still not getting close in sales, maybe slowly it will change

I think they know what makes them money, probably another special on bulk in November to get a chunk of cash at the end of the year.

This. They have no incentive to do better. No incentive to speed up turn around times. Until there is a industry wide thought change on PSA and their slab values, they will continue to provide sub par customer service, sub par turn around times, and laugh all the way to the bank. I used to be of the opinion that as the older collectors moved on, there would be more of the "i want it now" crowd in the hobby that would value turn around times more and we would see companies like SGC be more valued. But after going to a recent card show and hearing a 10 year old tell a vendor "I only mess with PSA", I don't think there is any hope for that.

Value 1980-Present
Arrived 8/11
R&ID 9/2

Was in green check assembly for around 10+ days and I got an email today about an upcharge. Replied that I approved and order has moved all the way to Completing

The two 9s were PSA 9s I cracked and resubbed, so struck out there, but very happy with the Cade, it had a line on the back I wasn't sure if they'd ding it for or not

Went into grading today. Almost spot on again. Should be done grading in a few weeks if timelines are accurate which they seem to be.

Expecting to possibly beat the timeline given the 144 cards are very similar.

The reason for that is every platform they use for comps has PSA as the standard. The younger generation are more app fixated and therefore companies like SGC/CGC don’t exist for them. They only use those companies for crack and re-slab buys.

I didn't receive any emails about grades being ready/order shipping, which I found odd. I just happened to check on it an noticed it was done. Emails delayed or not showing up for anyone else? Not a big deal, just curios.

Now two orders in the green assembly check, "grades ready", but not charged or available yet. Don't like this new kanban/timeline...

My bulk order is in QA Checks and says “grades ready” but it’s showing no grades and my credit card has not been charged.

That was quick. Mine been sitting for days no charge. I think it's an upcharge but no emails yet.

How does the upcharge process work? when do they typically reach out and will my PSA timeline show there is a hold for it?

This ‘green check mark for Assembly but no grades yet’ limbo window sucks

Hey friend, think I might be in the exact same position as you. It’s been well over a year and about 20 some subs since I had an up charge (knock on wood). Would you mind sharing who the email came from?

I really just need a dedicated email for PSA, because I’m thinking I must have missed it…
