I had to drive an hour away after rec mobile today to pick up softball championship shirts. No chance of rain in the forecast, so I thought I would be fine driving the city vehicle that has a messed up driver's side window. Well, it started raining on the way there and I couldn't get the window up. Then on the way back, the bottom fell out of the worst storm we have had all summer and I got soaked. Now I'm sitting here covering the office so that our administrative assistant could finally get some lunch since we are the only 2 working. Everybody else got sick from the food we had at the retirement lunch Friday. Then I have to go get my field ready for tonight and run a playoff game for my 13-17 year old league.

I need a vacation.

Well my wife told me we can pick up my truck tomorrow so that’s a pleasant surprise as I will no longer feel trapped at home in case of an emergency.
